We've seen how these numbers have looked when they weren't opposed. AEW couldn't get a million despite NXT airing a recap show one week and an awards show another week. On the flipside NXT was only able to get 800k when AEW didn't air for one week back in January, so it's laughable that people keep trying to make it seem like both shows haven't already reached their peak.

One show is a farm system and the other show is lesser version of WCW/TNA, so anyone expecting a revolution is going to be constantly disappointed. The mindset to have is to just sit back and enjoy them for what they are. Out of all the people they've signed FTR are the only ones who have been worth the money.

It tells me that anyone thinking that if either show was unopposed they'd get over a milli consistently is fooling themselves.
