It doesn’t make sense to have a developmental territory filled with guys that don’t fit the WWE ideal. HWA, DSW, OVW, and FCW were truly about developing stars for the future. NXT was about Paul Levesque creating the largest Indy company in the world, so that he could get praised on the Internet.

Remember how everyone was talking about how it was so great that Vince came down to NXT to check out the talent firsthand?:lolbron:

People should know by now that your boss “deciding” to explore the workplace isn’t good news :mjlol:

Vince was never really needed to call up NXT talent before, so why would he be now? Especially since he seemed to not even know who Adam Cole was lol.

True but we enjoyed it :yeshrug: The best days are long over though... there's not the depth of talent they had anymore. There's not the creative story telling they had anymore.. it can still be a decent watch but sounds like they about to bury it

Vince not pushing it as a true third brand was the real problem.

But he did.

If you want to talk about avertising etc. that's one thing but he put NXT over both Raw and Smackdown at the Survivor Series and apparently had Adam Cole beat Daniel Bryan clean. You can call it developmental if you want, but then what does that say about the two main roster brands who gave them the rub?

This guttting the roster thing feels like he's giving Triple H the :ufdup:for getting washed every week for a year and change by a company that he claims isn't even competition.

They can call it budget cuts, but by their own admission they're not hurting for money.

The E may have to finally come to terms with is the fact that other companies have been better at developing wrestlers. It would be cheaper for them to let talent build themselves up on other promotions and then poach them like they did before.

Eh it was more a start and stop than the consistent push it should have been.

Especially after the Brooklyn 1 Takeover. It should have been a true 3rd brand fixture.

Also you guys need to stop saying Vince never called it competition when there are quotes saying he didn't think they are the same level of competition that WCW was.
