This whole "revamp" of NXT would had never been a thing if WWE treated the Dub like it was IMPACT. Meaning letting them do their thing, while WWE makes money. Instead, WWE threw NXT at the Dub like a hungry youngin with a pistol and got WASHED.
Plus the fact that some of the NXT performers got out of pocket during the "war" (Shozi talking wild shyt throughout the "war").
Lastly, they decided to go LIVE on USA with a lukewarm roster of vanilla midgets and nobodies (with the exception of Adam Cole). Of course Vince split the wig all the way back to the basics. Its a developmental promotion trying to play a legit promotion, only to get washed by a legit promotion. The whole concept was idiotic and Trips ought to feel stupid about the ordeal. He wanted so hard for the marks to love him and got big headed when they were apart of Survivor Series.
