It's going to take some time to get used to the new look. Some parts of the new set look good.

The show felt like a developmental Monday Night Raw which makes sense. Whether you love or hate Raw, these guys are being groomed to be what Vince wants, not Triple H.

At one point Triple H's NXT had the best wrestling in America. It was a true alternative to the main roster, but they lost their purpose once AEW took over that lane. Now they're going back to their roots.

This. H's NXT was/is great and all, but it lost its original purpose. There are those that may not like what NXT is now, but what NXT is going to be going forward, is more along the lines what it was meant to be from day one (ish) until Vince gets the call to go lay down for the long slumber.

You really think they thrust this on USA w/o telling them? It's been known to be getting a revamp for well over a month and that is just to us plebs. :heh:

They do it with Raw and Smackdown all the time where those networks don't find out which the talent is going to be on until they actually show up hence the point of them complaining about it :mjlol:

USA Network is paying WWE for this version of NXT. If that was the case, then they could easily just show reality TV instead at a fraction of the cost and get the same exact ratings.

I never said that they didn't find out until last night :comeon:

What I said was that they found out about it a while back when everyone else did hence the report that people the network saying that it's not what they paid for. So obviously WWE didn't tell them beforehand about it and that they were going to do tapings for a few weeks while the changes took place or else they wouldn't have had the reaction that they did.

You do know that there are other sites outside of dirt sheets that report information right? For example, if the WWE was actually for sale then other sites outside of the dirtsheets would be reporting on it. That's why I never trusted what they said about it.

They all get stuff from the same "sources."

Deadline, Hollywood Reporter and other entertainment sites do not get their information the same people that the dirtsheets do :laff:

So NXT is back to LIVE programming but all those reports were that USA was unhappy it was going to a taped format, which was just for 4 episodes while they did renovations.

But supposedly USA didn't know they were going back to LIVE shows according to these "reports." :mjlol:

They were unhappy because they didn't know anything about it beforehand. It was obviously never going to remain taped forever since that would have literally been a breach of contract..........

Like I said, I get my information from people that I trust more than the dirtsheets. That's why I never believed that they were considering being for sale as those other entertainment sites would have reported the information beforehand. The only information you hear about WWE potentially being for sale is from..... the dirtsheets.
