hows rare doing now in days Seems a little short sighted by nVidia. These console makers make their profits in year 3+ and with this console generation probably lasting as long as this one that just passed? Might have been a bad move on their part

MS gonna have their own counter to Oculus Rift? If so,
To be fair, Sony approached them last second for a GPU, whereas MS had been planning their with ATI for a long time. Sony wanted to use use another Cell processor for the graphics.

Nvidia has far better equipment than AMD but they are fukking MORONS for not making this deal with M$ and Sony. Its disgusting. They will lose millions for this boneheaded move and the CEO will likely get his ass canned once profits margins start taking a substantial hit. Sell NVDA if you own any of this garbage.

It makes sense though, businesses don't just agree to every opportunity that comes across. in the case of consoles they would have been selling bulk amounts for cheap. yes its guaranteed money, but its not necessarily good money because consoles need to keep their costs down. it doesn't sound like it would have been worth their time. AMD need that guarenteed money, so they are more willing to undersell their product, Nvidia dont need to go that route.
i dont think they are mad a all, its not like they will actually be actually losing money, they will just be making their money elsewhere.
