Exactly. Trying to upgrade these computers that were built for average use would be useless. If the 3080 could even fit in the case, the power supply is not strong enough, and one you would need may not eve fit the case. Then the CPU is the big bottleneck and since the motherboard in that computer can not even accommodate a 8th gen Intel CPU, you would need to upgrade that. Just build a new PC but you should get at least a 2K gaming monitor if you do not have one, otherwise all of the power would go to waste.

That makes sense. Yeah I have a budget of around 1000-1500 for monitors so I'll be looking into those as well.

I didn't sell mine (bought at launch) knowing it'd drop by at least 50% once the new card came out. Nvidia has always played scum and I appreciate their consistency.
