How hard y’all think it’s going to be to actually get one?
Probably easier than we think. Everyone likes to front like they got the money, but they'll be waiting for that $300 3050 or 3060 or whatever to drop.

Those are always the most popular in the Steam surveys, but they also know to make more of those than these for that reason. Don't sleep

Y’all think the 3080 will be worth it over 3070? For 200 more? The 2080 super wasn’t worth the extra over the 2070 super

And do u think my 550W psu will be able to handle a 3080?

Launch day gonna be pretty hard since it looks like you gotta get it directly from nividia. Gotta sign up for mailing lists and just hope u lucky enough to get your order in day of.

Once the AIB cards are out like a week later it’ll be easier to get one however most of the time they are marked up a extra 100. The AIB cards are more meant for overclocking.

I'm personally waiting on benchmark videos to get a clear picture of just how good the 3080 is cause the 3070 is already more powerful then the 2080TI.

But i'll probably go with a Gigabyte or Zotac card. Their warranties are 4 years and normally comes with a free game (I wouldn't doubt some of the AIB cards shipping with either Crysis remaster or Tony Hawk. Hell if we get lucky some of them might even ship with Avengers!)

Wait for benchmark videos. They'll be posted a couple days before launch once the press get their review copies. As far as your psu i'm in the same boat. I have a 600w psu and they saying even that might be pushing it for a 3080. Again we gotta wait for benchmark videos to get a real understanding.

Yeah I see that a 2080ti and a 3070 are about the same power draw. And my 550 is fine for that. Just dunno if I’m stretching too far for the 3080

The 3070 is just a better version of the 2080ti, for the extra 200 the 3080 blows away the 2080ti, the 3070 is a good deal becauses it a cheap 2080ti

A 750w is recommended. I would just upgrade it. PSUs are not expensive enough to risk dealing with the headache of one fukking your system up.
