SGAs dad said a sniper like Michael Porter Jr next to his son would be a good move. I can see him in OKC. An SGA, Jdub, Porter, Chet, IHart line up would be solid
SGAs dad is smoking some good weed. MPJ is a selfish player with a lot of talent that can't seem to get his shyt right. He's way too inconsistent.

It's not a want to. At some point you have to admit that certain franchises have advantages based on where they are located. The Warriors can go above and beyond because they are located in SF and will make that money back easily. A team in Indiana doesn't have that luxury.

Most of the things yall complaining about were put there to reduce the disadvantages that come with a small market team.

The NBA needs to remove cap penalties for players who were drafted by that franchise. That way a small market team won't be hurt by aprons and luxury taxes.
First of all, tough shyt :manny:. 0 tears for a billionaire because, while he will definitely make money hand ovet fist, he wont make quite as much as certain others. All markets cash in on these TV deals and overall revenue sharing.

I dont buy this small market woe is me BS. Gilbert bytched about small markets, led the charge to get the Cp3 deal vetoed, then made it rain when Bron came back.

That shyt was put in place to ensure cost certainty (making teams more attractive to potential buyers) and give owners excuses for their cheapness and/or incompetence. Dont let them fool you with this small market BS.

They need to remove the cap and draft and let folks get it how they live. Its competition...if you cant keep up with the big boys get out the way.

It doesnt matter what you believe, the only things that matter are numbers.

Your example of a small market team spending is when the Cleveland Cavs spent to brought back "arguably" the greatest player in NBA history. A player who only came back because he was raised less than an hour from the arena. :mjlol:

How many top tier free agents have ever clamored to head to Cleveland, Indiana, Charlotte, Utah, Memphis, New Orleans, OKC, Portland, Sacramento, etc....? The only way those teams can compete is if they draft well, but the shyt is set up so that if you do draft well you are penalized. :camby:

The NFL understands that the shyt works best if everyone believes they are operating on a level playing field.

You are contradicting yourself. You do realize the NFL system does the same thing and is actually more extreme right? The thing that you are saying keeps the playing field level is what you are also railing against. The old system, before all the max contracts and aprons would actually allow a team to keep the team that they drafted with no problem aside from what they were willing to spend. Bulls were paying MJ 30 mil on a 20 something million salary cap. But pocket watching and cheapness and incompetence (and of course fans going along with the BS) got us here where you now have an actual hard cap.

Malone and Thibs are very similar in terms of how they deal with young guys.
I don’t think Young guys is a problem for the Knicks. Thibs already got rid of most of them, and the rest are development projects. It’s annoying but nobody is going to get fired cause Kolek or Dadiet aren’t getting minutes.
