I dont see how its that big of an issue, Olympic ball and Euroleague is at 10 min qtrs. Gotta find a way to limit injuries with the game being so fast paced. It would also limit the super high scoring games nikkas are getting frustrated about.

Teams could run even smaller rotations in the playoffs. fukk around and just play your top 6 nikkas in a do or die game.

Would also help the overall global plan of the NBA to expand to europe is some capacity. Let's say the NBA cup is expanded to include the Euroleague, having one qtr length helps towards that.

NFL and MLB have done big changes over the years and a lot of them have worked. International soccer too. It's really not THAT big of a deal to try to progress or evolve the game is certain ways.

He's also acknowledging it's DOA or at least it'd take a long time to get the ball rolling on it. In no way is he indicated he's gonna try to implement this any time soon.
