Malone and Thibs are very similar in terms of how they deal with young guys.

knicks don’t have a ton of young talent that they are trying to develop. Malone/Thibs don’t give young guys the burn the organization would want, but I would argue Malone manages his starters minutes better than thibs. This roster was built to contend right now and for the next 2-3 years at a serious level. (ECF/Finals) Im not saying he is the right choice, but I think his championship experience will make him the number 1 candidate to the Knicks.

The Knicks depth is as thin the Nuggets, so Malone is essentially going to end up in the same situation again.

Other owners that dont want to. All these measures that precededed aprons were implemented by the same folks for the same reason. No excuses for billionaires being unwilling to put their money where their mouth is and compete. When playere cash out and we break out the pitchforks but owners do it and we break out the capes. Nope its foot to neck on these owners.

It's not a want to. At some point you have to admit that certain franchises have advantages based on where they are located. The Warriors can go above and beyond because they are located in SF and will make that money back easily. A team in Indiana doesn't have that luxury.

Most of the things yall complaining about were put there to reduce the disadvantages that come with a small market team.

The NBA needs to remove cap penalties for players who were drafted by that franchise. That way a small market team won't be hurt by aprons and luxury taxes.
