Then what the fukk are you saying? You've repeatedly insinuated that Snowden is a horrible person, because he didn't pursue the "proper channels." You sound like those dumb ass news anchors on MSNBC and Fox with your bullshyt. Give it a rest nikka.

I'm not insinuating it, I'm saying it directly, snowden is a horrible person, a traitor and a spy

In the Silver Lining
Basically Wayne Madsen did an interview with the Guardian restating information that is already known (but not WELL KNOWN), saying that Europe spies on the U.S. and even Canada and New Zealand and Australia, and vice versa. They knowingly spy on each other and then share the information if need be with the other country, so domestically they can claim they don't spy on their own citizens. The article was posted on the Guardian, then taken down, and then Google took it out of their cache completely, in less than 24 hours.

The Guardian Revealed An NSA 'Scoop' Then Deleted It From The Website

Paul SzoldraJun. 29, 2013, 8:51 PM

The Guardian released another shocking NSA scoop on Saturday, revealing collusion and mass harvesting of personal communications among the United States and at least six European Union countries — only to delete it from their website hours after publication.

The article, titled "Revealed: secret European deals to hand over private data to America," was written by Jamie Doward, who reported information from Wayne Madsen, a former Navy Lt. and NSA employee for 12 years.
Doward wrote:

Madsen said the countries had "formal second and third party status" under signal intelligence (sigint) agreements that compels them to hand over data, including mobile phone and internet information to the NSA if requested.

Under international intelligence agreements, confirmed by declassified documents, nations are categorised by the US according to their trust level. The US is first party while the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand enjoy second party relationships. Germany and France have third party relationships.

He went on to say that seven European countries and the U.S. have access to a fiberoptic cable network, intercepting phone calls, emails, and user logs from websites. The article describes Madsen as having "been attacked for holding controversial views on espionage issues."

That's a light way of putting it.

Some of Madsen's controversial views include the belief that President Obama is secretly a homosexual and that the Boston bombing suspects were government agents. He's also reported on a "former CIA agent" alleging the 2000 USS Cole bombing was perpetrated not by al Qaeda terrorists, but by a missile fired from an Israeli submarine.

so what do yall think, should Obama take a hit on this shyt?

every us president since lincoln has to take a hit on this if you're being real with yourself. the military complex is far larger than one man, including the president. in most cases whoever's in office is forced to get on board or get ran over.

in this particular case this program was instituted long before obama was in place. there was no stopping this train once it was in motion. even if he wanted to i highly doubt he could do anything to stop or end it.

personally i think the gov has been harvesting data and intel unknowingly to most people since the internet was first established. they've just gotten more sophisticated and expanded the scope as technology got better.

Would your argument be the same if this went down when W was in office?

I'm sorry, what options would Chaney have exhausted that the Obama administration has not?

Bolivia has accused European countries of an "act of aggression" for refusing to allow its presidential jet into their airspace, amid suggestions US fugitive Edward Snowden was on board.

Bolivia said France, Portugal, Spain and Italy had blocked the plane from flying over their territory.

President Evo Morales was flying back to Bolivia from Moscow when the plane was diverted to Vienna.

The jet was reportedly searched for Mr Snowden, wanted for leaking US secrets.

He was apparently not on board and is still believed to be in Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport, from where he is seeking asylum in Bolivia and several other countries.

Bolivia's UN envoy Sacha Llorenti told reporters in Geneva that he would complain to the UN about the European countries' actions.

"The decisions of these countries violated international law. We are already making procedures to denounce this to the UN secretary general," he said.

But France denied refusing the plane permission, and Spain subsequently said its airspace was open to the jet.

And a further row broke out about whether the plane had been searched.

'Offence against Latin America'
Austrian officials said the airport authorities had searched the plane, but Mr Llorenti and other Bolivian officials denied there was any search.

The plane took off from Vienna on Wednesday morning.

Mr Morales said presidents should have the right to travel anywhere in

"It's not an offence against the president, it is an offence against the country, against the whole of the Latin American region," he said before taking off.

Mr Snowden is wanted by the US on charges of leaking secrets he gathered while working as a contractor for the National Security Agency (NSA), America's electronic spying agency.

The leaking of thousands of classified intelligence documents prompted revelations that the US has been systematically seizing vast amounts of phone and web data.

National Intelligence Director James Clapper apologised on Tuesday for telling Congress in March that the NSA did not have a policy of gathering data on millions of Americans.

He said in a letter to the Senate intelligence committee that his answer had been "clearly erroneous".

China, Russia and several European countries have expressed anger with the US over the apparent scale of its surveillance programme.

whats interesting to me about this coverage is how its shifted from what he exposed to simply a story about the manhunt for him.

Its also interesting how difficult it is to find the full, original transpricts cited and quoted in these articles that are attritbuted to Snowden.

They quote what "they" deem to be important and thats it, no link to the full transcript no mention of where it can be found........just their quotes. What kind of reporting is this?

I am tired of this story. How come throughout history you have these guys like Snow, Assange that have all this information but never really release it.

"I have sent damaging information to multiple countries and if something happens to me they will be released" Like c'mon with the BS
