because the Fulani phenotype and skin complexion is atypical to the west african region. The igbo look like the people around them (ie. edo, ijaw, ibibio, calabar, efik. and then bamileke, bassa in cameroon) are u even aware of these groups? probably not. these tribes I listed live in the same region of nigeria and in the same cities

bolded is key
that's why I made sure to mention the igbo tribe is 40 million strong (90% of them in south east nigeria)...the handful of ones you've met in America or wherever you are is small sample size to come to the conclusion that they are light skin.

damn nikka. calm the fukk down. only reason I mentioned Igbo is cause I knew a girl that was one and she was very light skin eventhough both her parents are from there. I just assumed it was not atypical.

even if its only the Fulani, the fact that there is still a tribe in West Africa with light skin like the Bushmen still supports my point.

technically speaking, we should be able to claim them too, as well as abos, but since we don't have the power of media and propaganda, we can't. All we can do is just wait until africa modernizes and some scientist finally decids that that is how it should be.

I can assure you, that if they were white, whites would claim them with the QUICKNESS. look how they try to claim north indians (indo-european), because of the aryan culture. once india modernized they hit them with the :stopitslime:

I agree somewhat. Without powerful media all we can do is watch as CNN, History Channel, Discovery, and National Geographic tell the world what they want.

But I digress

in regards to race and who is "us"....where do you draw the line? I mean I understand what your saying about the aboriginal australoids and andamans islanders...but I feel like what good is including people when they themselves do not acknowledge they have anything in common with us. I feel like if we go to a group and a majority of them do not id with us...then we have to stop forcing the issue.

I think so. being european means being white. even if you are a dark italian or persian. we cant keep giving other races are people, isolate west and central africans. the entire continent needs to ban together under one racial banner. Gaddafi was very firm with this. He was one berber that knew his history and had a lot of pride and talked about this. he knew what they were doing and he made sure berbers always claimed black. (the rich ones that fled to the west, keep going to the media stating otherwise tho)

I liked some of Gaddaffi's ideas (especially the continent army, and the gold dinar common currency) but I would prefer they were spearheaded by someone else. Gaddaffi was late in advocating Pan-Africanism...he tried the Pan-Arab thing in the 70s and 80s but the Arabs did not want to follow him. Even though Gaddaffi was on a Pan-African tip until his death, his people were not with it. I know a lot of Berbers and they see themselves as "Mediteranneans". Most of them live in coastal North African cities like Tripoli, Cassablanca, Cairo, Tunis, etc. and gravitate towards Southern Europeans. I think it will be a waste of time trying to find common ground with them or incorporate them.

I can't speak for the andamans (lol) but I think the abos do associate with us. I havent spoken to any and there's none on here to ask, but I get the sense that they know we have a common struggles and common ancestors. Again, you're right, we'd have to see how they react to the notion. I haven't really followed their leaders speeches or marches to see how well they associate with the civil rights movement like the africans did.

Those were the upper class, former tribes, basically the people tribe he booted from power during the revolution many escaping to the west for refugee. fukk what they think, because they ARE cacs. I understand Libya is a complex tribal state, so not all will want to associate, but the majority are black.

It's fukked up because now that he's dead, the black tribes have no protection and are being rounded up, revenge tactics are happening. Had their been a pan-african army, those cacs would have been slaughtered a long time ago....same with the north sudanese. To me, its like if you dont want to be apart of the movement go back home, go back to europe, the desert, get off our continent.
