I look at GNX as a project just to get a few more bangers out there after the success of Not Like Us that could be incorporated into the SB performance hence why it dropped months before instead of closer to it

It’s kind of like Kenny’s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late imo but just not as good or as a big

I don’t know why some of you nikkas (not you @dakidbanks) act like you can’t like both their music. Some of Kendrick’s projects are better than Drakes and some of Drakes are better than Kendrick’s. Stackin them up is subjective but these nikkas gave us some of the best hip hop music of all time due to their competitive nature in wanting to be the best.

It's definitely better than Damn. Don't get me wrong, the best stuff on Damn e.g. Duckworth, Fear, DNA and Pride are some of the best stuff he's ever written but it also has absolute dog shyt in it

GNX doesn't have as many highs (Reincarnated and HP6 aside ) but outside of the title track, there aren't many songs on it I'd call outrightly mediocre
