he doesn't have a classic verse, song or album
Yea but why? It wasnt dope, just said a few nikkas names, nikkas he really didnt want it with and said inflammatory statements about being the king of N.Y. and dodged problems from that too. Dude a clownits early to call any of his verses classic, but Control is his most notable, attention garnering verse.
This right here....it's obvious some nikkas in this thread are not true lyric heads with short attention spans and loves microwave rap...heats up real quick, holds you over for a minute but in the long run goes down like shyt.HiiiPower, tho
Lupe only have one classic verse, and that's "Touch The Sky""We angels with dirty faces, fallin' off the pavement
If we ball good you paid us, if we talked hood you played us"-Blu
"Doin' it bout as fly as a maggot grown up"-Lupe quotable punchline
"Phat as Biggie with no pun intended"- Blu quotable punchline
"When your spirit is strained
And you limited to change
The lyrics in your limericks'll change
A different hook, the way the sentences arranged
More demented in your deliverance, more sinister in your slang
Sounds more belligerent when it's sang
The truth is limitless in its range
If you drop a 'T' and look at it in reverse it can hurt" -Lupe
"Yo, somebody once told me I’m already in hell
Freedom’s a state of mind and just a heart of me is in hell
I freed my slaved mind, so now a part of me is in hell
So even when it’s hard to breath a part of me inhales
So pardon me…" -Blu
Bump so Duckworth stans can see what their fave rapper lackin in
Go listen to that Elzhi album then. His verse on Untitled 1 and Untitled 5 and the second part of Untitled 7 are probably the best verses I've heard this year. Not that I've heard much 2016 shyt yet.
Yeah - I definitely gotta listen to that. It's sitting on the computer. Elzhi is an absolute fukking beast though.Go listen to that Elzhi album then.
Lyrics on there put Kendrick to shame, but that's okay cuz it's Elzhi.
We gotta put shyt into persepctive here, Kendrick is not this lyrical titan people try to portray him as, and that's okay... breh is still a good artist
