You guys are acting like it's already ashes :heh:

The roof is on fire, the building is made out of fukking stone. They're gonna have to rebuild their spire, boo-fukking-hoo. :heh:

Y'all are crying over a piece of architecture that symbolizes a lot of murder and oppression throughout history that can be re-built.

I don't see anyone crying over the millions of lives that have been lost to French Catholicism, which CAN'T be rebuilt.

I'm not trying to sound like a tryhard militant, but :hubie:

but that's exactly what you are sounding like though.

Personally if an old castle, church, or building is destroyed in any part of the world I'm gonna have the same feelings. Yes, the French did horrible things through the centuries to many people. What YOU see as a symbol of murder and oppression I see it as an example of the creativity and determination of mankind in the 1300's.

I feel the same way about Isis going through Syria destroying cultural heritage sites. Not my heritage or religious beliefs, but still think it's shameful.

Again. Tf are you talking about. The roof of one of the most documented buildings in all of history burned down in a random construction incident, the building is made of stone.

Meanwhile the cultural heritage sites you mentioned will never be recovered, and were never documented to the same extent, and represent a larger ongoing loss of history and human life due to internecine middle-eastern conflicts.

Plus, its the total embodiment of French Catholicism, and they've dealt so much death and destruction in their time on earth, that maybe this will help some of them realize how damaging their culture has been throughout the world, because most of them never experience a destruction of their cultural heritage. Now that they have, hopefully they'll be less inclined to do the same shyt to other countries.

What's with the smiley? As a History major, this is a tragic event. The cathedral survived invasion, the French Revolution and Nazi occupation of Paris only to fall because of an incompetent construction worker.

Why are people celebrating this? :mindblown:

I forget why i despise the locker room. thanks for the reminders.

yall are corny for this

Fake militants trying too hard for attention online.

History burning away :to:

This literally breaks my heart. Nearly 1000 years of history and culture is wiped away with flames. Not even dap-fishing or anything, this really is messing me up :mjcry:

Coli TLR lames really making jokes out this

A building that has stood since the middle of the 1200's. And is one of the most popular attractions in the world. Being ignorant isn't funny.
These negropeans are in shambles right now:mjlol:
