I'm always floored when shyt like this happens cuz muhfukkas really try to catch feelings and paint people as "being militant" and all this other dumb shyt. If it were militant, people would be talking about how they WISHED this would happen-- that's not the case. The shyt caught on fire by accident and people just don't care to get caught up in the sympathy campaign the media is about to run. Period.


There's countless incidents to compare this to that won't catch anywhere NEAR the attention. This is only one example ,but over 1,000 people actually died from a cyclone in Mozambique just last month. It hasn't and will NOT get the same amount of attention that a really building is about to get. We went thru the same deal after the Paris attack vs the attack in Kenya.-- and we're not even touching on the precedent the French have set in Africa


Some of ya'll really think you're being "righteous" though colonized thinking is real and pervasive as fukk. GLOBALLY. Beyond black people and to their disadvantage. Meanwhile the cultural heritage sites you mentioned will never be recovered, and were never documented, and represent an ongoing loss of history due to the middle-eastern conflicts.

Plus, its the total embodiment of French Catholicism, and they've dealt so much death and destruction in their time on earth, that maybe this will help some of them realize how damaging their culture has been throughout the world, because most of them never experience a destruction of their cultural heritage. Now that they have, hopefully they'll be less inclined to do the same shyt to other countries.
