because he's been directly linked to trade shyt for the first time ever in the few weeks between draft lotto and draft night and even then i still think its not happeningIs you post about zion?

I would be shockedThe Pelicans were at the top of the West when Zion was healthy, they hadn’t looked that good since the year CP3 was a MVP contender
I don’t see them trading Zion unless they feel without a shadow of doubt he’s damaged goods or it’s an offer that’s too good to pass on

The only possible way I could see it maybe happening is if he asked out and even then I still don't think he would do it
Dude is unstoppable and he's had nagging injuries nothing really major
The thing with Nola is contrary to popular belief they’re not really a young team. BI is 25. CJ and Jonas are 31.
Also people really underestimate how many LA picks they have. FIVE. And LA could fall off a cliff as soon as next year.
So there is no benefit it to trade Zion. His upside is too high and they’re already covered in a worst case scenario
If I’m griffin I’m going in the OTHER direction anns building a juggernaut. I’m viewing it as I got 2 years of high level ball left in CJ and Jonas and I think I can win a chip in the next 2 years.
I’m taking #14, Dyson Daniels, Trey Murphy, and if I got to some of that LA draft capital and I’m adding another all star caliber player. . Beal, Siakim, OG. Preferably OG he’s cheaper, more versatile, less required touches
CJ
OG
BI
Zion
Valenciounas
And STILL have some LA picks
The #1 reason they are considering a trade is to save money. Their ownership has never paid tax. If they do trade, it won't be to add more max contracts. Even this past deadline, their only move was to trade Devonte Graham to save money instead of getting some help knowing Zion won't be available and CJ was hurt. I am not sure if it's just DG or the ownership, but it has always been 1 foot in 1 foot out type of roster building. Never fully all the way in. Also I can make an argument I would rather have Trey over OG. As far as just adding to next year's team, one shooter and one defensive big should be enough. The thing with Nola is contrary to popular belief they’re not really a young team. BI is 25.
