Lol they're regretting this bullshyt contract before the ink even dries :deadrose:
Easily the worst contract handed out this offseason
If he gets moved eventually it's gonna be a Bradley Beal like return. No chance any team is giving something good for that deal

So he can get moved by the deadline. Wasn't sure if it was next summer

I’m wondering do the Hornets need to make a semi big move at some point next season before Melo and Bridges eventual extension kicks in and eats up cap space.
sort of - but not really? if that's a real answer

hayward comes off the books this year and that was the main thing eating our salary floor before lamelo's extension. kai and book are fighting just to stay in the nba so i doubt a big deal is going to their class. terry's deal is coming up too.

it'd 'be nice' to plan around lamelo and bridges, but like.... if it doesn't work out, that's fine too lol. just means we'll have to over pay for another mid wing.

This was a huge mistake by Charlotte to not sign bridges. They could have locked him in long term on a discount bc of the off court stuff, but they probably went a lil too far with lowballing him

Now he’ll likely be a model citizen, ball out, and have max offers from every team with cap space. And he’s talented enough that teams will open up cap space for him. Detroit already looks like they will be ready.

he doesn't want a discount, that's the issue. he wants a max - and he didn't even deserve that shyt before he almost caught a felony

if he wants to bounce, its kinda whatever lol. he looked like shyt til lamelo showed up so good luck to him finding that kinda run anywhere else in the league. his replacement already got drafted.
