The Pelitanks might really ship off Zion like he's a crate of gumbo. :ohhh:

Took em long enough I guess.

maybe a trade is good for both…he seems to have gotten complacent in NO and I don’t think they can/will get the best out of him…maybe them trading him lights a fire under him and he becomes more serious about his career as a result…him and lillard on the nets might be interesting (sorry I’m desperate :sadcam: )

just heard kyrie can get up to 5 yrs/$272M if he stays with the mavs…if that’s accurate then there’s no way he’s turning that down…he’ll probably re-sign with them then act up a year or two from now and force a trade
And Dallas will be stupid if they give him that deal. There's no one that can give him anything close to that this off season so they're bidding against themselves. If he walks, he walks. Sure they'll lose what they gave up for him but it's better than gambling that he'd behave for the duration of the deal.

Dallas also doesn't need to offer him that.

High risk trading Zion IF he ends up able to play 65-75 games a year for another team.

We'll see.
That missing games to get your body and mind right phase was cute on the rookie deal, not now when he's on a 39m aav extension. 114 games in 4 years and he tapped out on the team when they needed him last season, physically cleared but not "mentally ready to play" while he was entertaining fukkery off the court.

I don't blame New Orleans for getting off the ride if the right opportunity presents itself (#2 to take Scoot), and I don't blame a team like Charlotte for taking the swing that he'll finally stay on the court as they try to replicate the Sabonis/Fox effect with him and Melo.
