With last night's loss and Denver's 45-point loss in Game 6, this is one of the worst choke moments by a defending champion led by a 3-time MVP...
Jokic let his team down throughout this entire postseason...I don't wanna hear about his stats or double-doubles, triple-doubles, 40-point games, etc.
For the most part, he played mid but good enough to get his stats and squeeze out wins (especially in the first round) in games that should've really been losses, if not for the Laker's coaching and roster incompetence along with Murray hitting a few game-winners. If not for those errors and luck playing a role Denver would've been sent home in the first round.
I mentioned before in the opening of this series against the T-Wolves that playing against a competent team such as Minnesota, that championship fatigue/hangover would finally catch up to them.
I'm glad they lost especially in a humbling manner...I couldn't stand their smug and arrogant attitude, especially from Mike Malone and the insufferable stans/fanbase. It probably won't happen but, I hope Jokic gets crucified for choking back-to-back games the same we criticize other greats for choking in crucial moments.
