With last night's loss and Denver's 45-point loss in Game 6, this is one of the worst choke moments by a defending champion led by a 3-time MVP...

Jokic let his team down throughout this entire postseason...I don't wanna hear about his stats or double-doubles, triple-doubles, 40-point games, etc.

For the most part, he played mid but good enough to get his stats and squeeze out wins (especially in the first round) in games that should've really been losses, if not for the Laker's coaching and roster incompetence along with Murray hitting a few game-winners. If not for those errors and luck playing a role Denver would've been sent home in the first round.

I mentioned before in the opening of this series against the T-Wolves that playing against a competent team such as Minnesota, that championship fatigue/hangover would finally catch up to them.

I'm glad they lost especially in a humbling manner...I couldn't stand their smug and arrogant attitude, especially from Mike Malone and the insufferable stans/fanbase. It probably won't happen but, I hope Jokic gets crucified for choking back-to-back games the same we criticize other greats for choking in crucial moments.

The Nuggets deserved this fate for being arrogant

Did all that work to get the number 1 seed…turned it up and made a huge second half push and won all their big head 2 head matchups only to blow it in game 81….a game they were once again up 20+ in.

So it seems poetic that their season would end with them blowing a 20 point lead because that Spurs game represented their demise. Had they won that game they’d have been the one seed and would have gotten an injured Pels then the Mavs who are a step down from elite.

They’d prob be looking like the damn Celtics right now. Instead they fukked around vs the Spurs and got thrown into a gauntlet bracket facing the Lakers and Wolves. They got the Lakers outta there in 5 but there were literally a couple of plays flipping it to where the Lakers would have won that in 5. Not to mention that the Lakers were big and physical and really exposed the lack of a bench by Denver and wore on their guys. By the time they ran into the Wolves they were already tired…Murray was already banged up and the Wolves turned up the pressure tenfold on them

The Nuggs dipped into that championship reserve and fought back but they really needed to win that series in 6. Allowing the Wolves the crush them like that in game 6 gave them back their confidence after Denver snatched it from them after those 3 wins. They really went into game 7 in Denver knowing they were going to beat them and walked them down with ease

But once again it was that Spurs win that set the blueprint for the Nuggets demise. Wemby Showed that game it wasn’t girth that bothers Jokic….its quickness, length and athleticism. He gave Jokic hell that game. And you can see Kat and Naz Reid using that blueprint. Taking away his airspace…beating him to his spot and packing his shot if he gets under the basket. Gobert couldn’t do it because he’s too frail and slow. AD should have been able to guard like that but he’s lost a lot of lateral quickness since bulking up.

But Naz and Kat gave Jokic more problems than I’d ever seen anyone ever do.…besides Wemby who opened up a lot of eyes on how he defended Jokic.

Crazy how a meaningless regular season game can blow up your season. These championship teams think they can’t get touched because they the champs. The Bucks did the same thing in 22…punting games because they figured they could win anywhere and got thrust into a murderous bracket just like Denver and lost to a hungrier team in Boston because of it.

Calvin Booth will have nightmares about failing to grab a backup center in the offseason, all you needed was someone who was tall and could still jump to play for 3 minutes a quarter and you're most likely back 2 back champs, instead you settle on Deandre Jordan, tragic.

Pacers in 6 just because i think it'd be funny

and i don't feel like the Celtics are gonna let this Pacers team stick around longer than they should and could pay for it

they try to go three for three with the pacers when they're on and it's gonna get ugly

You mean the other way around. Celtics shoot 40% from 3 and they shoot 43 of them per game. It’s best if Indy keeps this out of being a 3 point shootout.

I would like to see the Pacers win, but I can't see the Celtics needing more than 6 games to get them out of the way.

Pacers are the worst free throw shooting team in the playoffs, that's gotta impact them in at least a couple of these games.

I'd be stunned if they found a way to win this series.

the ether
They missed bruce brown

And to be fair they were absolutely dominant vs the lakers

They weren't dominant vs. the Lakers. :heh:

Replace Ham with a league-average coach and it would have been 3-2 Lakers going to Game 6. And that's despite the fact that D-Lo played horrible, Rui played horrible, Prince played horrible, Reeves was mediocre at best.....yet the Nuggets STILL need two game-winners by Murray to win the series.

That was an extremely flawed Lakers squad and the Nuggets struggled with them.

Game over season over

When murray took off in the first half it was a wrap

They’re done

Jamal has shot at 50% and over 40% from the 3 in every Denver win this series :mjlol:

The same is happening again tonight and Denver are going to blowout the wolves and move to the WCF.
