This is the series where you go with the 4th starter for length's sake or you empty the clip and have Gallen go on 3 days rest
A bullpen day on game 4 doesn't accomplish anything but screw up the entire pen the next night when you'll need length out of a pitcher anyway.
I agree with you, but these managers must think differently.
The Phillies did the same thing in the NLCS in Game 4 even though they had Lorenzen and Walker on the lineup.
