Can't say I've tried an actual NY slice, never been out there and ny transplants is quick to shyt on "authentic NY pizza" offerings out here. I'd like to one day. Chicago deep dish is good as hell tho
Good ol square pie from ledos
Matchbox magarita pizza was decent. Sometimes I post at the joint on 14th. Growing up on 14th and r I would have never guessed I'd be off t street surrounded by cacs eating mondragon pizza
Never had chicago style pizza, never want it.
:woah:
shyt remind me of school pizza.
Then I go down h street (used to live on 8th) and I want to cry. I heard they're about to tear down 640 so the Georgia Ave transformation bout to be complete. I'm just waiting for the condo market to drop and some of these cacs to run back to Mommy and Daddy. It still weirds me out seeing cacs be deep almost anywhere east of 14 St. They used to avoid that whole side of DC like the plague lol.
Food wise.NJ>>>How do you compare New Jersey/NY to Seattle?
There's no other places to get a decent (non deep dish) pizza other than NY and a few scattered places in Jersey, right outside NY. Any pizza outside of NY is straight trash... all these places that say "ny style" are never authentic tasting to a NY pizza; never tastes the same. Chain pizza is trash- anyone ordering from Dominos, Pizza Hut, etc.; I question their judgement. Any place cutting their pizza in squares is trash (unless it's NY Sicilian style).
I’m sure there is but they dont got nothing on the originator. It's plenty of places outside of Italy with great pizzas...
Buffalo....
If you have to eat pizza with a fork, then it ain't pizza.NY style is greasy flimsy mess. Deep Dish is goat.
