For the record....you can't even begin to scratch the surface of my sports knowledge.

on its face, of course freeman's catch was a good one, but it didn't win a playoff game, it didn't win a super bowl, it didn't jumpstart a dynasty, or put an end to another. every list i've seen it mentioned on its near the bottom while, "the catch" is near the top because its significance was minimal. that's why the catch will always be more revered.
