Pretty much. I laid out facts and figures of what experts expect from Iran in the event of war. America is very powerful country however it doesnt mean it can't lose in a war. People here act like war with Iran will be like war with North Korea. The US can crush North Korea because they will fight war in a conventional sense. Iran is different. Their whole military doctrine is different from anything the US has faced. Look up "Mosaic Defense." They know they cannot defeat the US face to face in a conventional war. So they would use their geographical advantage to hit back hard. This quote explains it better:

The last 15 years they ignored it and didn't apply changes to counter Iran. @FAH1223 breh I know you watching the game but you know war with Iran would be a disaster for the US.

It'd be a disaster. Iran can disrupt Strait of Hormuz, they can attack US bases in the Gulf, they have anti air defense systems in their country and the US doesn't have even half the manpower to invade. Not to mention it would cost trillions.

Additionally, the governments of Iraq and Afghanistan are very close to Tehran and rely on their support.

Turkey, India and South Korea have substantial trade with Iran. All three of those countries are US allies and will not want a war that effectively disrupts their economies.
