their energy exports ain't never gonna recover. renewable energy is getting cheaper and we don't know what technological advances could be made in the next decade or so. china who they're hoping will save gazprom is low balling them like crazy and isn't even asking anywhere near the amount of gas they supplied europe with. china is also a world leader in renewable energy. defense sales will also be tough since the world see's how their weapons are performing in ukraine. drones that cost a fraction of the tanks they're able to destroy. their air defense systems will get some interest but they're gonna have to sell those cheaper than what they would have sold them before the ukraine war.

Putin is visiting Kim Jong-Un to beg for weapons for his failing invasion of Ukraine. Russia begging North Korea for weapons would be like America begging Panama for weapons — it signals a total absolute failure of Kremlin strategy and the pathetic weakness of Putin.

This is a pathetic move by Putin. Putty might be running out of time in Russia. He can't keep fighting in Ukraine, but he can't leave and the USA is applying massive pressure on Russia economically and militarily. Something has to give.

No it's not pathetic, it's a chess move. They are trying to get China in the fold which has been either friendly or neutral to be both countries.

Edit: Just speculating but forming that alliance may embolden China to try and take Taiwan which will be harmful to us.
