the coli has spoken. I like both trilogies a lot but you can't argue with the votes. Batman wins.
i'm not surprised, the dark knight was a special kind of film. i don't think it's the better than winter soldier but i could see why it drew more people to it.
joker and bane just had so much swag. amazing, amazing villains. they're really what you remember most, not batman.
Luckily I already cashed my lastest check from Disney so they can't punish me for this but I've always maintained that the Nolan trilogy is the pinnacle. The alpha and omega. The dark knight rises has its mis steps but most are only truly noticeable because it was coming off the heels of the GOAT comic movie.
With that said I still haven't got a chance to see CA CWbut hopefully can this week. Still doubtful it will be great enough to surpass what Nolan was able to do.

If you're gonna vote Nolan it's gonna be because of TDK, that's the best overall film out of the whole shyt but overall I say Cap. You can rank them in chronological order and see how it shakes out.

TDK series by a decent margin, but it isn't carried by Batman. The villians were my favorite parts of the movies
I might agree on that, although I think Blade is the best first outing for a supe in a cinema. Not that it dwelt on his origin all that much, nor was it very heavily written, but it was a much iller film.
As for the thread, this goes to Nolan (even though I think Marvel has been consistently washing DC at the movies.)

The goddamn last movie is the worst of the bunch. That leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
But the Cap films START with the weakest of the bunch but just kept getting better until Civil War which is the clear best of them all. So overall they are tied in my mind.

And thats all good and dandy.... but thats just to thing. I paid and want to see a COMIC BOOK movie. If I wanted to see a "REAL WORLD" movie then I wouldve saw some other shyt that dropped that year. It was forced and thats as much of a fair complaint as some folk complain about "forced romances" in other movies
Its ok to tweak something but its too much when cats try to pretend not what its supposed to be, being called a comic book movie is almost an INSULT to Nolan.
While Cap went the other way and made comic book movies with real world themes.... and they pulled that off

I'd put the batman movies above cause the story telling and actual movies are better
But if you want an action flick and fighting and guns and explosives.... You know damn well where it's at
Batman wasn't some hand to hand nikka anyway. He was supposed to use detective work and gadgets so it's not really a big surprise.
But besides that Bain fight, they was no fights you automatically pick out. Nobody was talking bout "ooooooo shyt you see when batman and joker went at it at the end"
