Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy vs. Marvel Studios' Captain America trilogy

Far better story from CA, far better action in CA.
Nolan's batman movies werren't batman movies, he made nice detective movies, but they had nothing to do with the DC character I know as batman.

Man I disagree with this so much. Long Halloween is one of the best batman stories ever and it's a detective story

Ledger gets a lot of praise for his role as Joker but Aaron Eckhart as Dent is the one that blew me away when I saw it opening night

most people seem to like eckhart in that movie but i thought he was awful. he wasn't suave as dent and he wasn't scary as two face.

actually he wasn't even two face, he was angry harvey dent.

That is cool, but the character Bale played wasn't the Batman I grew up reading or watching, same names but not the same character.

The one difference in his batman and the comic batman is that he didn't want to be batman. But his resolve, his paranoia, his intelligence, all there.

Yeah I'm not saying the movies were bad, its just that it could have been The Question, NiteOwl, Rorsach, Nightwing, or any street level masked hero and it would have been the same movie with just a outfit change. I never got the Bruce Waye and Batman I knew from it. Same with the Joker, it wasn't the JOker I grew up with.

The Cap movies just wouldnt be the same without Cap. The Dark Knight Trilogy rides on the villains. But the movies had different ways of going about their respective comic mythos with great success.

As good a TDK was, Ledger's death is what made it legendary..

When I watch winter soldier .. I almost forget its a superhero movie because its just a GOOD ASS movie.

Cap. Begins and TDK are better movies all around but since poll said superhero, I think Cap's trilogy captures the superhero aspect a bit better than TDK trilogy.

I don't count CW since it's basically an Avengers movie. If TDKR had Supes, Robin, WW, & whoever then it would be comparable. All the Batman movies are just Batman vs whoever with help from the police and Catwoman on TDKR but she didn't do much
