Nolan da gawd producing Man of Steel

I'm a big superman fan, so I've been following the development of the film with interest

It has everything it needs to be a success. The actors (cavill, fishburne, crowe , diane lane, michael shannon, christopher meloni, kevin costner), a writer who respects/knows the comics, nolan producing (he helped with the story, hired the director, his brother was involved in the rewrites, and he got zimmer to compose the score), snyder's visuals/action, and an extra six months to perfect the cgi since the movie got pushed back. The set pictures have been encouraging. I don't see how they can fukk this one up.

The trailer should be coming out in the next few days

i will give you that superman in character is a lil soft so it would be hard to make a dark depiction of superman....but they should at least make it on par with Batman Begins

So how are you just dismissing TDKR already?

Yeah the 3rd movie is usually the worst in the superhero genre (Blade, Spiderman, X Men) but Nolan has never made a bad movie and all things considered it seems that everything in this saga has been written and planned to come to this point.

This is more like Fistful of Dollars/Lord of the Rings than them superhero movies.
