Man fukk all the bullshyt. If Gail Kim and Awesome Kong werent killing it for years before WWE took notice to even begin to develop an NXT division for the women to have these great matches. To the point they even resigned Gail at one point and had Kong terrorizing the Bellas when she got signed. Again this is a full two years before NXT Arrival.
Point of all of this is, the Bellas had absolutely nothing to do with it other than the fact that they were back (because these "pioneers" did leave once to fail in Hollywood) in WWE at that time.

it was a bellas match that literally sparked the give the divas a chance hashtag...saying they need to give the women more time....Paige/Emma match was a reflection of that showing what the women could be capable of IF given that time....they're both responsible
its not about lack of opportunity. it was about lack of talent.
most of the WWE divas simply couldn't wrestle a lick and still cant.
if they truly want to honor some pioneers that didn't get a proper opportunity, then bring back Jazz, Victoria, jacqueline Molly, Ivory, etc. the quality female wrestlers that they wasted by having them play the back to trish stratus and/or sable.

Those chants would have happened wether the Bellas were in there or not because fans wanted to see more of Paige, Emma, AJ and Nattie. Bellas didnt spark shyt and were perpetually part of cringeworthy tv for their ENTIRE EXISTENCE. Ieven remember people clamoring for more Alicia Fox in some circles but NEVER Bella matches.
