Such as damn near every other player in their age group that hasn’t led a team to shyt?

If Tatum & Brown are disappointments then what are Ingram, Mitchell, Luka, Trae, Booker, Towns, Simmons, etc.?

I’m supposed to shyt on them for only being able to lead a team to the conference finals when most of their peers are being given grace for far less?
I rarely see anyone throw serious criticism at Tatum & Brown. Kyrie, Hayward, Ainge, Kemba and now Stevens have all gotten/get more heat than them.

I'm not seeing any of Tatum and Brown being called "disappointments". And if there is a caveat, none of those players on this level play together outside of Simmons playing with Embiid and Simmons gets plenty of hate here, I myself don't care for him. Cats call KAT the Tin Man. Booker has been called overhyped (I agree). There's whole threads with Trae/ATL and Luka/Dallas fans shytting on each other.

Outside of cats poking fun at proclamations of Tatum's youth I don't see cats really shytting on your two stars like that.

They're the only under 25 stars in the league right now that have people running around claiming that they've peaked and their window is shut. My argument was never that their peers don't receive any criticism at all, but it's disproportionately lower than them. Brandon Ingram been in the league 5 years and hasn't sniffed the playoffs and no one bats an eye. Donovan Mitchell blew a 3-1 lead and no one bats an eye. But folks act like it's the end of world because Tatum & Brown aren't ready to lead a team to a title right now.

I haven't seen this anywhere :ld:

The Celtics talk in the national media that I've seen is revolved around how bad Kemba has been, and whether Ainge and/or Stevens should be let go

I tried to even this nikka the benefit of the doubt considering posters often times take what people say out of context ..but ... nope... it was exactly what i thought... low brow ..hot take ... shock jock babble at its finest:martin: ... you know from a reasoned perspective your point is likely outlandish when Swaggy fukking P is trying to help you walk back your statement :mjlol:... this nikka literally thinks that a team with dual allstars under 25 years old have maxed out their winning potential because the team wont bring in a "veteran leader to take them over the top" ... dumb ass muthafukka these two WILL BE the veteran leaders in 2-3 years lmao ... who the fukk listens to this kind of garbage content :what:

Gilbert basically just said in the video in the OP that the Celtics window is closed, and even when Swaggy P brought up Tatum & Brown not being in their primes he still doubled down :skip:

And I've seen that sentiment echoed by several on and off this site

But we can agree to disagree :manny:

Ingram played on a lottery Lakers team and his only year with Bron both of them was injured. Year 1 next to Zion was with an injured/restricted Zion. Nobody says anything about Mitchell because nobody had the Jazz doing anything. Every year is cited as Boston being 1 of 2 teams getting out of the East.

I don't agree with their window being shut, though they might be treadmill status without some moves. Like I said they might get the most flack because they're 2 elite wings on the same team. If anything the following is the reality.

The league is getting younger but the gaps in talent at the same age is probably the craziest part for example it’s becoming more and more obvious that the Warriors drafted James Wiseman because of respectability politics, it’s obvious that the NBA wanted Luka in Dallas, and let’s not forget NO going from Chris Paul to AD to ZION. The league isn’t ready and it’s going to hurt everything because with the “two Jays” you have two young black men under the age of 25 being criticized and talked about in a dehumanizing way by cac’s in their 30’s and up. How often are they shytted on with statements like I can’t see that person as the best player on a championship team is weird when cats not even able to drink legally. The latest dog whistle is that certain guys don’t play defense when the refs pick and choose what a foul is with what they are told from the top.

I think he's basically right they never took any risk when they had the assets and flexibility Danny's greed fukked the team over. Those holes at the center and point guard spot can't be easily fixed.

exactly it’s not a Jaylen or Tatum. Its the fact that Ainge didn’t build that roster needed to get over the championship hump when they had the assets to do it.
