Good front office. Good team environment. And a history of success with wide receivers who are past their prime years, like Boldon and Steve Smith.

It would’ve been an ideal situation and he passed it up. Dez only wants a one year deal because he thinks he will play another 3 or 4 beyond that. Sadly, what Baltimore offered him is what teams would’ve probably offered him next year anyway. If not less because he would be a year older.

Dez wants no parts of that Ravens locker room :hubie:

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Stopped reading there cause it proves you dont know your own team :mjlol:

years on the team + impact.

Of course Witten was there longer, but Dez had a bigger impact on offense. He was the senior most WR and he should've been the one to help Dak. Dez is a "team player" but he has a rogue mentality which basically cancels out the rest. Most of the WR's gravitated towards his personality, but at the end of the day, they were beta players, with no threat to taking his position. I think the "Garrett Guy's" he was referring to are simply players how got tired of him popping shyt and not backing it up during games. You can't talk all the shyt you want in practice, but if you get shut down in games, after a while all that talking shyt becomes noise.

3 years 24 mill

And yeah this was after we signed Crabtree for 3 years 21 mill

The sad part is even if he signed a one year deal this year to prove himself, that's pretty much all teams would've offered him NEXT year anyway. He was probably thinking he could get a quick $10 million this year alone.

That HAS to be his logic. In the NFL next season, or next week for that matter is promised. If he does get that one year contract and gets hurt, his value will decrease even more next off season.

You left out the part that only half of the balls thrown his way were catchable targets, that's a true statistical fact, not something I just made up. Not to mention there were certain members in the media that created this atmosphere, drumming up these same talking points that you brought up. Even with this thread, what reporter put out this story? The same one who publicly reported he had video of Dez in a walmart parking lot doing some illegal shyt at the time he was eligible for an extension, and never walked it back when it was proven not to be true. Bottom line is I've watched his whole career, and I've seen some malcontents during my time, Dez aint one. When the last time you heard of him involved in any off the field drama? That man is 29 and a father, he aint out here doing no knuckleheaded shyt. If he turned down a multi year deal with Baltimore to get a 1 year prove it deal somewhere else that's his prerogative. Eventually he'll get signed and help some team win games next year.

Doesn't matter who the QB is. You're talking as if Dak is a completely trash QB not a second year QB who is still developing. 49 percent catching being target 151 times is unacceptable as a starter in the NFL.

1. he still led the league in drops which means he didn't make the most of the "catchable balls" thrown his way.

2. he didn't command double coverage anymore which means defenses didn't respect him or view him as an elite receiver anymore. Any time Cole Beasley commands double coverage when you're on the same field as him, that's a problem.

3. Dak can at least fall back on youth.

4. How many times did Dez reach out to Dak in the offseason to work out together?

5. How many throwing sessions did Dez ask for AFTER practice with Dak?

Dez was the senior most player on offense and TEAM. Yet we blame a 2nd year QB for his low production :mjpls: OK. And Dez is the ONLY player people make this excuse for.

Other Elite WR's have dealt with QB turnover and nobody ever made excuses, because they learned to adapt.

Larry Fitz went through QB turnover so why didn't the Cardinals get rid of him? :mjpls:

Dez and his dikkriders need to stop. When you have receivers like DeAndre Hopkins that had to deal with shytty QB's but still put up 1,000+ seasons.

Dez route tree is basically throw me a jump ball or an contested pass. :mjlol:

Because it's not Dez job to get separation or to adjust his route by reading the coverage. :mjlol:

I'm so glad that the new era of Stephen & Will McClay are getting rid of these Low IQ nikkas. :camby:

nikkas act like Tony wouldn't have got rid of Dez ass by now. :mjlol:

If Witten was tired of him. I bet Tony would've told Jerruh to :camby:

It's all about mentality. Dez never had it... and honestly was never schooled by vets.

WHO KNEW this moment would come to embody Dez's tenure in Dallas. It was something small, but in all honesty, somebody should've check him off the rip. He should've carried those pads. It's not like it was out of disrespect, it was a rite of passage. Something that small that went unchecked eventually led to shyt like this....

This is the reason why Coaches and Veterans haze rookies.

Dez never felt that he had to answer to anyone or show respect to anyone.
