So is dude bein black-balled? Can he file a collusion case?

1. Dez initially said he ONLY wanted to play in the NFC east which eliminated a lot of potential teams.

2. When he turned down Baltimore of all teams that just solidified it.

DEZ came into free agency with demands even though he had no leverage. That in itself is a turn off. He only wants a one year deal which makes him a one year rental. That would automatically eliminate teams that are rebuilding. He only wants to go to a contender. That also limits where he can go.
He did it to himself.

So let me ask you a question. If I offered you an injury prone WR who is pushing 30, caught less than half of his passes thrown his way, no longer a great athlete and has an under developed route tree. Not to mention he's a loudmouth and be may cause drama on and off the field. Would you entertain that?

What did the ravens offer? This was after they signed Crabtree right?

My boy Dez will get signed but we gotta remember he got released right before draft and Dez put limitations on himself....only wanted to play for NFC East with them being very familiar with him and his strengths and weaknesses...can't limit urself that much.

3 years at $7 million per year. No other team was offering that much.

Dez said he didn’t care about money. That statement alone says he doesn’t know what he wants. He’s on social media working out with OBJ, while he should’ve been focusing on teams he could realistically play with.

Part of me feels bad for DeZ. But at the end of the day, he had opportunities to become a legit leader and perfect his craft but didn’t. The route running is inexcusable.

Good front office. Good team environment. And a history of success with wide receivers who are past their prime years, like Boldon and Steve Smith.

It would’ve been an ideal situation and he passed it up. Dez only wants a one year deal because he thinks he will play another 3 or 4 beyond that. Sadly, what Baltimore offered him is what teams would’ve probably offered him next year anyway. If not less because he would be a year older.

He'd be amazing in Pittsburgh with Ben gun slinging to AB, Bell, JuJu, and now Washington.. and Dez... too bad he would never agree to be just another guy on a loaded roster

Plus Flacco is Competent enough to throw in traffic balls to guys that can't get much seperation. Just get a 1/2 a step and he will put it on a spot as he been doing since 2011 with Boldin.

You left out the part that only half of the balls thrown his way were catchable targets, that's a true statistical fact, not something I just made up. Not to mention there were certain members in the media that created this atmosphere, drumming up these same talking points that you brought up. Even with this thread, what reporter put out this story? The same one who publicly reported he had video of Dez in a walmart parking lot doing some illegal shyt at the time he was eligible for an extension, and never walked it back when it was proven not to be true. Bottom line is I've watched his whole career, and I've seen some malcontents during my time, Dez aint one. When the last time you heard of him involved in any off the field drama? That man is 29 and a father, he aint out here doing no knuckleheaded shyt. If he turned down a multi year deal with Baltimore to get a 1 year prove it deal somewhere else that's his prerogative. Eventually he'll get signed and help some team win games next year.

1. he still led the league in drops which means he didn't make the most of the "catchable balls" thrown his way.

2. he didn't command double coverage anymore which means defenses didn't respect him or view him as an elite receiver anymore. Any time Cole Beasley commands double coverage when you're on the same field as him, that's a problem.

3. Dak can at least fall back on youth.

4. How many times did Dez reach out to Dak in the offseason to work out together?

5. How many throwing sessions did Dez ask for AFTER practice with Dak?

Dez was the senior most player on offense and TEAM. Yet we blame a 2nd year QB for his low production :mjpls: OK. And Dez is the ONLY player people make this excuse for.

Other Elite WR's have dealt with QB turnover and nobody ever made excuses, because they learned to adapt.

Larry Fitz went through QB turnover so why didn't the Cardinals get rid of him? :mjpls:
