it would have been but we sacrificed that for one more failed year. I've always been an advocate for the trade to Denver, even after the NFCCG, because it wasn't going to get closer than that.

The fact that Newman continues to be in the game is an indictment on the coaching staff and on Gute. How TF we have a 3rd round Olineman who can't sniff the field. Newman is literally getting blown up every single play. I'm hardly exaggerating, he was the reason for the majority of the pressures and the reason for the FG block. And they still are intent on trotting him out there.

Gute really has whiffed so incredibly badly on offensive draft picks and getting weapons. Dillon has taken a huge step back, we traded in Tae for fukn Watkins and an injured FCS WR. It's embarrassing that once Cobb went out it was basically over for the WR core.

We've spent sooooo much FA $$ and draft capital on defense and we are getting consistently beat by average to below average QBs. It's actually crazy. Rodgers and Tae really masked MLF deficiencies
