:ehh:

what better way to finally let him get a piece of his first nfl action than against the bum ass cowboys... please dont play him in the playoffs though :francis:
With the way Mills and Darby have looked at times the past couple weeks, if he comes in and is lights out, I wouldn't be against keeping him on the playoff roster

I had alotta hope for Jones :yeshrug:

jones is potentially the most talented corner on this roster by far, but this is the worst possible time for him to get acclimated to the NFL. i wouldnt mind him getting a few rotational snaps (under 15-20%) in the playoffs but at the same time im not expecting too much from him at all. if he was healthy enough 3 weeks ago to touch the field and get a feel for the game then i wouldnt be opposed to him getting decent playing time in the playoffs. at this point i rather crash and burn with darby/mills on the outside and just have jones get his full offseason work in to take over for 2018.

Yeah i get what you're saying . This situation definitely isn't ideal and its unlikely for him to come in and steal a spot.

But if he does look like a shutdown guy immediately I'd be willing to roll the dice. Again though, i realize thats incredibly unlikely

Aight y'all.

Everyone relax.

Just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Got homefield and With Wentz down, we are playing with house money.

I am hearing the pundits sleepin on us again. Thats wat i like.

Foles needs to make some throws and we gotta run it and ride with that defense in the cold and loud linc in two weeks.

Defense gave me some reason for hope. They played great today

Gonna need Ajayi, Blount and Clement to have big games to try and steal a win or 2.

Team will be fully healthy too.

Defenitely a long shot but we'll see what happens

Nah, fukk that, its not a long shot, we have a shot like anyone else especially in the nfc. I like our chances with homefield.

Time to make Nasty Nick the next Trent Dilfer/Brad Johnson and make him Nick Foles "Superbowl Champion" thanks to a dominating D

yep , just have to get in. then its any given sunday. it'll be weird cause we'll have home field but probably be the underdog (which i prefer) no matter who we play. they can play with a chip on their shoulder and more loose

the surrounding cast (o line, wrs) gonna have to put in work to make things as easy as possible for nick

Just looked at the first few drives again

Foles looked actually halfway decent. That Smith drop really hurt.

Him and Ertz seem to have a really good connection though.

They're going to need to spam that and find a way to scheme the WRs open and manufacture yards

Those opening drive arent the problem, Foles did well in the opening drives against the giants, raiders, and now the cowboys.

The issue is sustaining drives past that point in the raider and cowboy games once the opposing defenses settles in and gets a clue on ur gameplan, the offense seems to stall.

The run game and screen game are gonna be critical to Foles and the offenses success the rest of the way.

The run game and screen/short throws helps with the pass rush and keeps those linebackers and safeties in check.

If Doug game plan causes Foles to throw 30 plus times with his limitations and those outdoor conditions, we are likely one and done.

Yup we need to turn into a run first offense as we have the personnel. Run setup pass which will help Foles and offensive line.
