:what: YOU are the one who made this thread saying don't hang your head. Yes they should hang their head. They should lock themselves in a room for 2 weeks like LeBron did last year. They should be embarrassed to the point they never want to feel this way again. That's what makes a champion.

Read this article, Loose. It's for you.

Seen it was a J.A andade article i dont take nothing that lack of knowledge writer has to say; Anyways this year was an improvement over last year without a training camp(hence our shytty defense) we were suppose to be beaten by the unbeatable spurs anyway, its just a thread title chill:shaq2:

But look at what you posted, LBJ was on a mission. Why? He was humiliated. He was forced to hang his head.

"Good job, good effort" means you did enough to win. That's a lie. They didn't do enough to win and they need to improve on some things. Patting them on the back is what a "yes man" would do and that will never benefit them. When they lose next year maybe then they'll do some soul searching. The same soul searching every NBA champ had to do with very few exceptions. And they can't be an exception to that rule with the Beasts from the East that is the Miami Heat still intact.

The heart of a champion is one that has been broken. Hearts don't break while their being consoled and told "good job, good effort."

LeBron's humiliation was on another level. He is the best all around player in the world. He went & signed up to play with Wade & Bosh, then he got reckless on a stage talking about 8 titles. He had to get shyt done because it would have been another year of constant shytting on him. OKC doesn't have that kind of pressure because it was a team built through drafts & trades.

The heart of a champion is one that has been broken. Hearts don't break while their being consoled and told "good job, good effort."

So your saying that their spirits are broken or something & they can't win because they have the best fan base in the league?

Stay ignant then. I thought it was common knowledge actually. Apparently not. Or are you just still too butt hurt to acknowledge the obvious?

Only losers are okay with losing. Keep patting them on the back but I hope for my main man KD's sake he's hating the attitude of fans like you. It's a loser's attitude. You need to take an O out of your name.

But you're from Buffalo, though. Losing is more than acceptable there. In fact, it's the standard.

They felt like this was a missed opportunity and a opportunity to learn from there mistakes where is you getting this bs from.

...the Heat were the team that paid the painful price of losing in the Finals first. They were the ones who had to endure an offseason (an extended offseason at that) of, as Dwyane Wade put it, "so much pain, so much hurt, so much embarrassment." The Heat have already been through the stage the Thunder are in now, wondering how home-court advantage and a one-game lead in the Finals did not result in a championship of their own.

And that is the central reason the Heat stand where they do today, as kings of the NBA.

Occasionally, teams get to skip this step. The Thunder weren't one of them.

Yall cats must just be young as hell. This is how the NBA works.

and in the second very part you added it says "Occasionally, teams get to skip this step. The Thunder weren't one of them." I dont get what you saying we lost because we lost not because of age and they aren't playing that bs factor either. age is a excuse this team doesn't live onexcuses like harden said ""A Dynasty Is Being Built" hard work and expectations is what we live for.

Who said abandon ship? I'm confused. What are you talking about? I'm saying don't pat them on the back and say "it's okay." What's okay? Losing? They lost and you're saying that's okay? Losing shouldn't be okay.

No one is saying it's okay. Maybe I used different words than I should have in terms of abandoning ship. The OKC fan base isn't going to get on them for losing. That isn't how the fan base is. If they started just going off on the team it would be so drastically different than how they are preceved that it would be like they are abandoning ship.

Comparing LeBron's humiliation to the Thunder losing & how they should feel is two different things. It's a process in OKC that nobody expected to just happen overnight. Miami coasted for like 2 years waiting to get LeBron & Bosh, they weren't doing all that to get those guys & not win titles. That's why when they didn't win it last year it "embarrassed" them.

You just don't understand the NBA then. You don't win an NBA title until you fail first. There are very few exceptions to this rule.

I don't think the Thunder's season was a failure but all that means is they won't win it next year either. They won't win it until they fail and look themselves in the mirror and tell themselves they failed.

Them not failing is the problem. They didn't fail last year and that's why they didn't win this year.

:wtf: They clearly thought and think it was a failure and a failed opportunity , i dont know what you consider a failure, but i consider getting blown off the floor a failure; maybe if they went on a emotional panick crying to the media proclaiming they are going to commit suicide you'll understand.

and Idk what realm you from that says being the favorite and getting damn near swept is not a failure :what:

:what: How does the fans sticking with them mean that the players aren't viewing this as a failure?

:why::what::wtf::childplease:

They didn't win this year because they ran into a team that played better than them.

I think you're underestimating the drive and heart KD has. I'd be very very surprised if he isnt some where working on his game to be better next year
