In speaking about this, the seminal games in vr for me have been Superhot, Beat Saber, Astrobot. I'm now going to go back and revisit Half-Life Alyx and Asgard's Wrath 1 with this. So far, I'd put this game, for me, up there with those other games in creating moments

You got me curious now to see that difference. I'll download it to the Quest 2 as well and I need to learn how to take screenshots. I'll do it for both.

I also downloaded the new environment ,,,,,Blue Hill Gold Mine" the graphics on the quest 2 seems to be getting betterthis environment looks pretty good imo

I honestly haven't been using my Quest 2 at all for months but I have been keeping up on the tech news. They have released several updates that made the processor "powerful" or at least more efficient to the point that it is graphically noticeable.

While there is a difference, the Quest 2 punches above its weight here. Things like draw distance, anti-alising, resolution and clarity is more present in the quest 3 vs quest 2 but the Quest 2 is not a bad looking version at all.

Had a Q2 for about a year. Barely played it until recently. A bit of Pavlov offline, TOTF. Nothing major. I copped a used PSVR2 the other day and I don't know if I have a faulty unit but man that mura/screen door effect is horrible. Plus the small sweet spot and being tethered really limits movement. Downloaded the trials of Horizon and Hubris, wasn't impressed either. Bought Pavlov for 25 to see the difference from Q2. Better background visuals for sure, obviously. Gun models look about the same.

Copped a Q3 today. The lenses are MUCH better, crystal clear, no mura effect. I'm gonna need a 3rd party headstrap tho ASAP. Played some Shack and the background visuals are still better on psvr. That MR alien demo was sick

Psvr2 is going back. I'll miss the adaptive triggers tho.
