Defense ain't nowhere near that level.

And at some point you're gonna need a QB.

they're not winning next year. The idea is to basically make it so whoever fails at QB doesn't have built-in excuses

I think Mariotta and sitting him is a good idea, a lot of possible good QB's get ruined cause they get thrusted into bad offenses and their confidence is shot after 1-2 bad years.

Geno, a guy who i never liked, but saw some flashes from, is a guy who probably could have used 1-2 years watching.

Best QB in the game is a guy who benefitted from watching (Rodgers or Brady, take your choice)

He wont be there at 6 anyways. All the teams drafting ahead if the Jets got worse QB play than Geno.

Probably. But between the Bucs, Titans and Redskins...I don't see how they're both not gone. If he's there at 6 listen to offers or take him. Jets have been meeting with mid to first late round picks so maybe they have a deal in place already if Mariotta falls to them.

Eh, if he's there, the only way I don't take him is if White or Cooper are on the board. They're surer bets by far. Hundley, Petty and Grayson are all projects. So is Mariotta truthfully , but his ceiling is much higher. Like I've been saying, I don't envy Mac and Bowles for having to make this decision at all.

Then it'll either be Strong or Beasly at 6.

If Mariotta is gone I take Cooper or white. WHoever is still there. If Mariotta is still there I call Cleveland and Eagles to see whats really good. and go from there.

only guy Id be outright against at 6 would be Fowler. His measurables are scary as hell...and not in a good way.
