You guys really trying see Geno for another 16 games?
He deserves the chance to compete. Im not in favour of dumping him just for the sake of dumping him. Personally I think they should cut bum ass simms, sign a journeyman qb and draft a qb in rds 2 or 3 to develop.

At the same time I wouldnt be mad if they took jameis or mariota as long as they sit them them the first season.

might as well since we probably wont do much this season anyway. even if they do believe in mariota and draft him, sit him for a year behind geno and a veteran journeyman qb.

"Where's your evidence that he "continued to tail spin"? Geno had the bad game in Buffalo when we got Harvin, yes, but that was also Harvin's first game as a Jet. And clearly there were issues with coaching that caused that performance as well. Outside of that game, Geno was actually quite good after the Harvin trade. With Harvin, he went 88/134 (65.67%) for 1155 yards, 6 TDs, and 3 INTs. His passer rating was 98.3. This is compared to the first half of the season without Harvin, in which Geno went 129/225 (57.23%) for 1365 yards (6.07 Y/A), 7 TDs, and 7 INTs. Passer rating was 72.5.

He clearly improved when we had Harvin, and when Decker finally got healthy we really saw Geno start to play well. Cooper, Decker, Kerley is a true NFL-caliber receiving corps and would really help show us if Geno is the guy."

He'll be on the roster next season so maybe it carries over. But guys who are as turnover prone as him generally dont.

Bud Dupree could be the guy. Dont expect Cooper to be there at 6.

I like Dupree, but at 6? Hell fukking no!

I still think we address OLB in free agency anyways

Honestly I think there's a chance Dupree doesnt make it to 6.
