No it's not. That's completely illogical

Why, Geno is a piss poor QB.

He is what he is, this false hope for the guy is fukking comical. It's Sanchez all over again, except he is not connected to any success whatsoever.

It's one of the hallmarks of a Jets fan, never experienced a good QB, so they`ll fall for anything. You're like the fat girl in college who never got any attention in High School, desperately trying to spin trash into treasure because you don't know what is good in the first place.

Geno struggles with not having dump offs intercepted. Geno's worst mistakes came inside the Jets 20 and inside the red zone, basically the two spots where mistakes can't happen. And an absurd amount of his turnovers went the distance the other way. His errors are generally the back breaking ones.
I would never deny Geno committed some of the worst TOs I ever seen last season... But you're just plain old hating my dude if you can't admit better coaching, competent oline play and a player the caliber of Arian Foster would of helped cut down on those...

Geno played like a shyt QB, no denying that but you also cant deny the shytty situation he was put in...Fitz was on a much better offense and thats not debatable...

I cant guarantee you Geno shines with Foster...What i can guarantee you though without any doubt is Fitz on that Jets offense last year puts up equally terrible numbers...

Favre, Testaverde, and Pennington were all good QBs.

As for Geno, unless you're getting a true upgrade at the position, why bother? Fitzpatrick is not an upgrade. And if he is, it's so marginal it doesn't even count. Can you win with Fitz? If your answer is yes, then why the hell has he been around for so long and not won anything? He's been bounced around from team to team. We're in a league right now where the market for a QB is at an all time high. If you really believe a QB is that good and you can win with him, said QB would never hit the open market.

We know what Fitzpatrick is. I still don't think we know what Geno is. Fitz has played in the league for several years on some good teams with some good weapons surrounding him. Geno is a 2 year QB who has not been afforded such luxury. Personally 2 years is way too early to make an accurate evaluation of a QB. Troy Aikman was HORRIBLE his first 2 years. And he turned it around it become a HOFer and is considered one of the greatest QBs of all time. Good thing you guys weren't running the Cowboys, because yall woulda ran him outta town after his first couple years.

I'm completely about giving Geno this year to finally show something. He's in his 3rd year and he's finally got weapons around him. If he fails, you can finally shut the book on him and move on. If anything, Geno will help you to get a QB who you really want (through the draft). I'll almost always go with the higher ceiling/lower floor QB over the higher floor/lower ceiling QB

I can respect/understand that thought process. Higher ceiling/lower floor vs lower floor/higher ceiling
Geno threw 9tds and 4ints when better weapons were made available to him. Harvin saw his first 100 yard receiving game with Geno. The improvement was clear.

Don't disagree but a lot can be said about Geno's ability to operate under center vs Fitz. Geno still looks woefully uncomfortable under center. That Houston running game operates with QB under center

Just to show you how much of a rookie he is, Powell had to push Petty under center on a play. Still, I have high hopes for the kid.

Kind of interesting about the situation with kerley.

Smith had the #3 WR job with the first team offense. Then he went down and owusu got that slot. Then he went down and now enunwa is getting the reps.

Not sure if kerley is out of favour with the new staff, are they sending him a message or?

Could be like the amaro situation where hes listed as the #3 TE but thats because hes the H-back and their is no h-back position on the depth chart. Maybe thwy have some other plan for him in gaileys scheme.
