Because the Spurs are at their absolute best when Parker is effective, when they only have 1 viable offensive weapon on the perimeter they aren't going to win..
Parker was gimpy all year and they had the #7 offense in the league.

:camby:

Good defense is good defense, act like a team losing it's best defender for 17 games has no bearing.

When did I say that?:what: No argument on that point. You're still ignoring the effect of playing in a historically bad conference. 8 of the 10 worst offenses in the league played in the East:comeon:t..

:wtf:

Bruh, this is like proof that you don't understand what we're talking about. Having more than 1 wing player that can score means there's no place to hide Barnes or Reddikk, it also puts pressure on CP3 to defend if one of them is a PG. In the Bulls and Cavs case, they would have to use Barnes and CP3 to check Rose/Irving Bron/Butler since Butler is too big for Reddikk.

Barnes is going to guard Butler and Paul is going to guard Rose. Butler has the advantage in that matchup, but he didn't turn into Kobe over night. Paul can guard Rose, Rose has no shot at matching him defensively.

The Celtics in 08 lost to the Hawks 3 times and the Cavs 3 times :manny:
Good point, I was doubting them when that happened as well.:ehh:

He was better than Duncan on offense this season :stopitslime: And that is besides the point, the Bulls have a interior scorer and two wing scorers.
You using ppg to justify this nonsense? What is this 1987?:comeon:
Gasol scored more points because he had to shoulder more of the load with Butler/Rose missing so many games. Duncan doesn't take on a lot offensive responsiblity in the regular season and he shot better from the field. Even if we assume their even, the gap on defense is huge and non-debatable. Blaked avg. 24 13 and 7 against Timmy what do you think he's going to do against Gasol?:sas1: Noah and Gasol can't move, they don't have the athleticism to handle Deandre and Blake.

Their defensive rating with Mozgov on the floor is 102.6, that would be 5th in the league ..

Where you getting that? I'm seeing 105 for his defensive rating with the Cavs?:patrice: Either way he's not doing anything with DJ.
DJ's defensive rating was 98 by the way. 99 in the playoffs.:sas2:

Yes, because that means Jason Terry doesn't start and Pablo Prigioni doesn't get minutes :dead: I mean, how can you watch Austin Rivers constantly get by Pablo/Terry and not think Rose could help.

Of course he's going to be better than Pablo/Terry, but not enough to make a difference in a series where the Clippers are shooting 50% from the field, 38% from 3 and dropping 120ppg. :wow:

:wtf:

Ariza is not Jimmy Butler or Kyrie, he occupies the same role as Dunleavy and JR Smith, being serviceable and being an elite scorer are entirely two different things. Butler & Kyrie can take over a game when Rose/LeBron are off, Ariza cannot :dead:
You think Butler's reached elite status?

Paul and Blake can't take over a game?

In that game Bron and Kyrie combined for 70, shot 55% from the field and 3, Tristan dropped 24 on 80% shooting:pachaha: and Paul was 4-15. I concede if they were able to keep that up for the series they win.:whoa::heh:

Well, we can't draw conclusions from the other game in which they were down 30 and completely incapable of defending LeBron, since Love was there. We can point out that both times they had no answer for the pressure applied to them by LeBron and Kyrie, they had no answer for Russ and KD last year, in a series in which the 3rd highest scorer on the Thunder had 11ppg. They also had no answer for Kyle Lowry and Demar Derozan this year, or Curry and Klay......

And if not for a CP3 brain fart/epic collapse they're up 3-2 going home with a chance to clinch:manny:. No duo left in the playoffs is as good as Durant and Westbrook.

I get wing scoring is a weakness for the Clips and makes them vulnerable, but the advantage their front court has over Cleveland/Chic >>>>

At least Cleveland can put Shump on CP3. You think Thibs would put Butler on him? I don't think he can guard him, even if he can that would take away from his offense.
