If its the Wiz they may get a rest. I don't see them beating the Hawks quickly. I don't think Kyrie would be playing if it was the regular season. Not sure exactly how serious it is, but assuming a lot to think he'll be close to 100% come the finals.
Kyrie's injuries are a strained foot and sore left leg, he was able to score 30pts in game 1 with those lingering problems.
Deandre is more of a rim protector than Noah right now and pretty sure the Clippers are beating the worst defensive team left in the playoffs right now. I'm assuming Doc is going to make Lebron shoot jump shots and/or pass whenever possible. If he suddenly finds his shot sure he's going to go off, just don't think it will be enough (think Orlando in 09). If Kyrie is back to normal, sure different story.
DeAndre isn't a great rim protector, and why is it some singular matchup between Noah and Jordan when the Bulls have more than just 1 interior guy capable of playing defense? How can Doc force LeBron into jumpers when he doesn't have the personnel to do it, just saying it and doing it are two different things, the Clippers have not been able to defend SFs for awhile now. How can the Clippers check a PG / Wing combo, if they use Reddikk on Butler it's post up city, if they use Barnes on him he'll just go by him, and with the Cavs they can only use Barnes on LeBron. In recent years, the Clippers have put Blake on LeBron
because they have no other options beyond Barnes.
Bulls have looked bad all playoffs to me. They struggled with Milwaukee and now they're struggling with an undermanned Cleveland team. I don't really see why you think Cleveland matches up well with them either, especially with Love out and Kyrie hobbled.
The Bucks are a top 5 defensive squad with length for days, not sure why struggling against them is seen as an indication of some major flaw. You're really overrating the West teams, this is like when the Pistons and Pacers had those horrifically ugly series and everyone said there was no way the Pistons could win. The Grizz would beat the Cavs or Bulls, the Clippers I don't see it.
Clippers bigs >>>> Bulls bigs (Bulls bench is better, but I don't think Thibs will start Gibson.) Noah has been bad defensively and downright horrible on the offensive end. Clippers bigs can combine for 50-60 on any given night.
Clips were able to get enough stops against a much better offense in San Antonio.
The Bulls big men have a better chance of containing Blake and DeAndre than the Clippers have of keeping Rose and Butler in check. I don't get how in one sentence you can mention how Kyrie was hobbled, then act like Manu and Parker weren't done. I'll repeat it, had Patty Mills gotten more minutes they would have won that series because the Clippers could not defend against multiple perimeter threats.
