JR is a better defender and shooter than what the Cavs had out there. The fact that the Cavs only really lost in the final minutes when the Bulls were having their best game offensively tells me that this series is going to be a rinse-repeat of all the other Lebron vs. Bulls teams. Pau is a bum, he outdid himself and wont score like that again.

The difference is Chris Bosh use to kill the Bulls. With no Love out there...Mozgov is going to have to step up.

Yeah, and Kyrie can just focus his energy on guarding Noah or whoever is being trotted out as the big man :troll:
Kyrie can guard their spot up shooter, Mike Dunleavy. Mike Miller was so bad on D, he let him go off for 14points in the first quarter :snoop:

Not a bad loss considering we were playing within a new offensive style and using the corpses of Miller/JJ/Marion for a combined 32mins to fill the void Love left. Lebron should focus most of his energy on guarding Rose. Rose was shooting easy mid range jumpers cuz Kyrie is still horrible in fighting over picks. A simple pick will take him out of a play completely, it's sad to watch. I doubt Gasol will continue to make those jumpers like he did tonight, it just takes 2 misses in a row for him to lose faith in his jumper. If he's not making that jumper, he can't post up Mosgov at all.

We should win game 2 after we used this game to iron out the wrinkles we were expected to have with a new line up. And once JR comes back, we should be able to steal a game in Chi easily. Cavs in 6
Pau has hit that shot all season long, but he's going to suddenly go cold and lose faith? :dwillhuh:

Why does everyone act like having jr back isn't going to be some godsend. iman scored like 20 this game which he won't do again so that pretty much covered the absence of jr.
His defense is pretty underrated

He plays with a lot of energy that goes unnoticed imo

And hes a knockdown shooter. Having him and Shump out on the court at the same time with Kyrie at the 1 and LBJ at the 4 could be a great lineup for the cavs. Hes a way better option that james jones or mike miller

Wherever nikkas need to be told on

Dunleavy's been playing well, though. Fact is Cleveland has matchup problems with Chicago, right now. Things will certainly get a little better when JR returns such that you don't have a Mike Miller getting significant minutes. But I think this well-rounded Bulls team might be too much. When healthy, they're a legit contender. Not having a Love or Vareajo hurts the Cavs a lot. It's going to take some monster performances from Kyrie an LeBron as well as some high quality play from some of the other guys in order for Cleveland to prevail.

Solid win. Bulls did a good job taking care of the ball and the offense looked crisp for the most part. Cavs aren't nearly the defensive team Milwaukee is.

With that said, I'm still concerned with a few things. Mainly Jo's inability to hit shots which makes him a huge liability on offense. There were several times when LeBron was matched up on him and was basically playing zone defense in the paint. Thibs actually seemed to recognize this however, and benched him in the 4th. I think this was an uncharacteristically well-coached game by Thibs.

BUT, I don't like that he's basically consolidated to an 8-man rotation. Kirk played okay but I doubt he's able to keep that up; he's bound to have a horrible game during this series, at which point we'll all be wishing Snell could get burn. I would love for Niko to get minutes as he's proven to be a true offensive boon. Shots were falling tonight so he wasn't really needed but his presence could be absolutely key off the bench if the starters go cold. If the Bulls should lose this series with Niko getting minimal playing time Thibs will look like an idiot, just saying.

LeBron will probably have a few 30 point games but it doesn't seem like they have a viable answer for either Jimmy or Rose defensively so I'm not too concerned with this.

Again, the biggest issue right now appears to be Jo's inability to make significant contributions on either end. I don't expect much on offense, but he was getting torched continuously on defense and that really hurts us. I really wish Thibs would stop fukking around and just start Taj but of course that's a pipe dream.

Either way, I expect no less than 6/7 games.

Maybe if he stopped shooting like a 6 year old white girl

I think its important the Bulls continue to jump out to leads early, Bron is a frontrunner and will shrink once the pressure is on and he sees his team down 10+

You can expect bad jumpers, careless turnovers, and nail biting on the bench :lolbron:
