ROSE DIDNT FORCE UP ANY SHOTS.

HIS J WAS COOKING,
AND HE BETTER TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE MISMATCH EVERYTIME A BIG ENDS UP ON HIM....

HE GOT ROBBED ON A BS CHARGE ON LEBRON
THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A 3POINT PLAY LATE IN THE 4TH...

JIMMY DIDNT WAVE ROSE OFF.

I JUST WENT BACK & WATCHED IT TO MAKE SURE I WASNT SEEING shyt.

ROSE NEVER ASKED FOR THE BALL,
JIMMY GOT THAT BOARD, DRIBBLED UP THE COURT
AND ROSE DIDNT EVEN LOOK IN JIMMY'S DIRECTION.

HE LET JIMMY HAVE HIS MOMENT SINCE
HE MISSED HIS LAST 2 SHOTS
AND WAS PROBABLY GASSED.
His shot was on, I'm just saying when they got the switch late in the game I would have liked to see them milk Pau in the post with a smaller guy on him. That is an easier shot than what they ended up getting IMO.

It reminded me of Game 3 vs the Bucks where Rose was killing it all game and then late in the 4th they started taking tough contested jumpers and MIL ended up tying the game. I just want these dudes to execute better late so no kind of fukkery can cause them to drop a game.

They never trailed in this game tonight and they should have blew this team out with how well they shot from 3.

Shumpert was the surprise for me, I have never trusted his 3s and he was basically the Cavs only spacing.,If he can come close to replicating tonight offensively I would be shocked

He was bound to get started eventually, we were intentionally leaving him open all game. Every time he was open he had a center closing out on him, and staying back, daring him to shoot. :heh:

Solid win. Bulls did a good job taking care of the ball and the offense looked crisp for the most part. Cavs aren't nearly the defensive team Milwaukee is.

With that said, I'm still concerned with a few things. Mainly Jo's inability to hit shots which makes him a huge liability on offense. There were several times when LeBron was matched up on him and was basically playing zone defense in the paint. Thibs actually seemed to recognize this however, and benched him in the 4th. I think this was an uncharacteristically well-coached game by Thibs.

BUT, I don't like that he's basically consolidated to an 8-man rotation. Kirk played okay but I doubt he's able to keep that up; he's bound to have a horrible game during this series, at which point we'll all be wishing Snell could get burn. I would love for Niko to get minutes as he's proven to be a true offensive boon. Shots were falling tonight so he wasn't really needed but his presence could be absolutely key off the bench if the starters go cold. If the Bulls should lose this series with Niko getting minimal playing time Thibs will look like an idiot, just saying.

LeBron will probably have a few 30 point games but it doesn't seem like they have a viable answer for either Jimmy or Rose defensively so I'm not too concerned with this.

Again, the biggest issue right now appears to be Jo's inability to make significant contributions on either end. I don't expect much on offense, but he was getting torched continuously on defense and that really hurts us. I really wish Thibs would stop fukking around and just start Taj but of course that's a pipe dream.

Either way, I expect no less than 6/7 games.

Not a bad loss considering we were playing within a new offensive style and using the corpses of Miller/JJ/Marion for a combined 32mins to fill the void Love left. Lebron should focus most of his energy on guarding Rose. Rose was shooting easy mid range jumpers cuz Kyrie is still horrible in fighting over picks. A simple pick will take him out of a play completely, it's sad to watch. I doubt Gasol will continue to make those jumpers like he did tonight, it just takes 2 misses in a row for him to lose faith in his jumper. If he's not making that jumper, he can't post up Mosgov at all.

We should win game 2 after we used this game to iron out the wrinkles we were expected to have with a new line up. And once JR comes back, we should be able to steal a game in Chi easily. Cavs in 6

Why does everyone act like having jr back isn't going to be some godsend. iman scored like 20 this game which he won't do again so that pretty much covered the absence of jr.
JR is a better defender and shooter than what the Cavs had out there. The fact that the Cavs only really lost in the final minutes when the Bulls were having their best game offensively tells me that this series is going to be a rinse-repeat of all the other Lebron vs. Bulls teams. Pau is a bum, he outdid himself and wont score like that again.

Getting him back means Mike Miller doesn't start and they can run Iman, JR and LeBron together. As long as Noah continues to suck the Cavs can play LeBron at PF.

This.

If they survive the Bulls series. Its the ideal lineup to play against the Wizards when they go small and against the Hawks as well.
