Gambino Family - Ghetto Organised is becoming one of my favourite NL albums :wow: no filler pure heat
Agreed:wow:BBTP showed their class on there

Prime Suspects, Ghetto Commission and Steady Mobb'n albums that also came out in late 98 had surprisingly little filler, some amazing beats (Crosses Artist, Desperados, Trapped In a Storm, Bust Back, Shackles, Ghost In The Dark, MG Theme...)

Any story about the dude Mystikal beat up at the Waffle House??

I don't have the full story, but some random dude stepped to Mystikal and started calling him names. Mystikal, was already annoyed and dude wouldn't let up, so Mystikal went off. I think Mystikal stomped him out. This story was told in detail on one of the old No Limit boards. I also remember it happening in Atlanta. The parts that are fuzzy:

- the dude that stepped to Mystikal was a fan and was being annoying. I think Mystikal might've obliged an autograph, but dude just kept being a pest. When Mystikal tried to politely brush him off, he got mad and called him names. He called Mystikal a "bytch" and that's when Mystikal went off. The brawl inspired Mystikal's verse on "Murda, Murda, Kill, Kill" and I think Mystikal has another verse or verses that mention it.

I think BBTP created way better beats on these 4 albums than on Full Blooded, NLS compilation, Mystikal, Silkk, C-Murder albums afterwards, you could hear they were runnin on fumes by then

I'd rank em
1 Gambino Family (best beats, Gotti went hard, Pheno wasn't bad at all, really nice features and concepts. No bad songs whatsoever, I'd argue not even a mediocre song, tons of heat)

2 Prime Suspects (again very good features, like Snoop and Fiend on My Old Lady. Uzi was a pretty good spitter. Lots of dark nihilistic shyt, loved it. Also no bad song on here)

3 Ghetto Commission (best lyricists out of this bunch, Holloway was a beast on the mic, production was mostly Carlos via their Spiral Records connection, beats were a bit too similar. Liked the Dolliole solo cut, dude could sing)

4 Steady Mobb'n (lots of cool Snoop features, concepts and hooks weren't as strong as the others, Bavgate was usually horrible, Crooked Eye was alright, loved the Mr. Serv-On feature. Some excellent cuts like Crosses Artists mixed with some subpar ones like Lil Nikkas, pretty uneven album)

What you think breh? Which ones did you like most?

Great detail. To be honest breh, i haven't fully digested the Prime Suspects and Ghetto Commission albums yet. Ive sat with the Gambino Family all of last week, (when working out and just walking home) That album is flawless to me. I wanted to hear your valued opinion on those releases. The Gambino Family and Kane & Abel album are two of my most played albums outside of the millers releases. The great thing about NL dropping so many albums produced by BBTTP is that there is still so much music to go back to and digest. I had Tru 2 Da Game on last week as well :wow:

prime suspects were just ok to me
Gambino Family was dope because of Gotti and Pheno
Ghetto Commission album was cool, C-Los had some nice mafioso beats on there but like you said they sounded too familiar, also felt put together because of the lack of features
Steady Mobb'n had the best Snoop collabs with both being from the west coast, however I only liked them on features, those albums they put out were terrible.
