Wow, so Shake Ya Ass was a response to back that ass up, also makes sense as to why the 504 boyz album had Neptunes on it. @OHSNAP! @JustCKing @No Hook @You know damn well @NO-BadAzz @Homeboy Runny-Ray

Never knew that P made that phone call to part ways.

Shake Ya Ass hit that summer of 2000 and it took off fast down here, it was different, but it took off. I remember that summer very well and many folks were confused about him still being with No Limit.

He didn't feature any NL artists on that album if I believe

Mystikal already worked with Neptunes for the Any Given Sunday soundtrack that came out in January 2000 tho before this all happened, and with Outkast in mid-99 for Neck Uv Da Woods. So the groundwork was laid for Let's Get Ready already with some top level producers working on it, besides his BBTP fam. Let's Get Ready was fine enough, but could have been alot better, guest spots were pretty weak, lyrics were just ok

The 504 Boyz/Neptunes cut co-promoted Pusha T aka Terrar, so that made business sense

Now that I think more about that 2000 year, NL dropped 504 boyz and Mystikal wasn't in the Wobble Wobble video, I mean I wonder what that was all about? He was on 2 cuts on that album, but I think those were old verses maybe.

6-8 bars he had.

I wasn't sure what was NL doing in 2000 with their roster.
