Yea Gipp n Khujo were more street oriented n gutta than Cee-Lo's singy flow n T-Mo's generic style. C tried to keep it more positive and bright on Bossalinie for once and it wasn't well-received

The one song that really would've made a dope Dungeon Family/No Limit collabo was "Keep Your Eyes On Your Enemies". Mia X opens with the spoken word she was doing, then the line up goes as follows:

P
Mia
Cee Lo
Gipp
Silkk
Khujo
T Mo
Big
Andre

Big Rube on the outro

That song was dark and hard, but creative and left field enough that everybody would've shined on it.

As far as beats, I think BBTP was able to cook sth fitting a NL/DF collabo, like Mac's Paranoid or even Tru Homies. It was always too rushed, especially in 99

This was rock bottom quality and perception wise for NEW No Limit. Rehashing old hits with 2Pac and Eminem/Mystikal biters, plus Young Curren$y! Low budget movie (did anyone see Still Bout It?) and 80$ video budget

BUT P still talkin' big

And Boz flexin' his gat

Now that I think more about that 2000 year, NL dropped 504 boyz and Mystikal wasn't in the Wobble Wobble video, I mean I wonder what that was all about? He was on 2 cuts on that album, but I think those were old verses maybe.

6-8 bars he had.

I wasn't sure what was NL doing in 2000 with their roster.

and his appearance in the whodi video never seemed right.

like it was digitized or something.

i know i cant be the only one who feels this way.

I would love to hear Master P's reason for dropping Mystikal who was the most reliable solo act on the label. Back then I thought Mystikal jumped ship because No limit was on the decline.

Same happened with Fiend. He didn't wanna leave but he had to. BBTP leaving cracked up the entire label, since Fiend, Mystikal, Serv, Ed etc wanted to work with them, which P surely didn't accept. Mia X was only featured on C's albums (Tru Records releases), but never worked with P or Silkk or the other NL acts again after 1999
