Do you know how many people make false statements over the air? Not all media companies have fact checkers.

The RIAA has their information and other sources, If you're in the music game, you can go to these sources...The people could have easily went and grabbed those numbers from these albums.

Do you believe P wrote a check of 375k to release Mystikal??

It didn't sell 4 million records in a little over a month. 2 million copies were shipped. Since it was a double album, it qualified for 4X platinum (2 million X's 2).

Soundscan has that album at 2 million about the same amount Snoop sold.

If a double album sells 5x or 3x or 7x.. That means 2.5 albums were shipped? 1.5. albums were shipped?

7x = 3.5. albums shipped??

If 2 million records were shipped on July 10, 1998 and it was stamped 4x

How many records were shipped on it's release day??? And would those albums be added to the 4x that was stamped on July 10, 1998?

That does not make sense with what you're saying and what is listed.

The album came out June 2nd.

So how many albums were shipped when it came out on June 2nd?

I don't care about them sites. That's cap as I keep saying and what you are saying doesn't make sense...

The album was released in June 2nd...P's last album...highly anticipated album

How many albums were shipped on June 2nd?

An album does not become eligible for a certification until 30 days after release.

Yeah I do tbh, they were playing hardball with him.

If that was believable, Why would P or anybody else lie about his albums being sold from his company

Do you believe he made 56.6. and made over 400 million?

@Marlo Barksdale @NO-BadAzz @OHSNAP! @JustCKing

So Master P doesn't own the NL masters anymore but still holds the rights to his catalog correct? (Ice Cream Man, Ghetto D)

Due to losing the lawsuits, Priority & Beats By The Pound own the masters of Master P's Priority albums starting with Ice Cream Man. Even on streaming services those albums say Priority Records.

That's why P made a "greatest hits" album with remade beats and re-recorded lyrics of his Priority songs. It's so cheap sounding that the first couple of songs actually skip when you stream them. Literally skips like a scratched up CD:gucci:

I thought something was wrong with my phone the first time I played it.

And up until like 4 years ago, this was the only Priority records era Master P available on streaming.

You answered none of the questions in my post, what you posted, I didn't seek that answer from you nor care.

I'll ask again because I want you to keep digging yourself in a deep hole about this foolishness.

P - July 10, 1998 according to RIAA The Last Done "shipped" 4x within a month??

June 2nd - July 10, 1998 (30 days span)

Is this a cap by RIAA?

Make that make sense

Breh, just because you don't agree with the information on RIAA doesn't make it cap. That is an academy in which the entire industry abides by. You don't have to agree, but it doesn't change the truth.

What does it being P's last solo album have to do with any of this?

Everything I am posting makes sense to everyone, but you and one other poster. Yet you and the one other poster choose to believe Wikipedia articles that have no citations to verify the information.

That is how many copies were actually shipped in the US. It isn't an indication of what he actually sold. He got the certification based on the shipment. He would've had to sell like 500K every week to rack up 2 million in sales.

Ehh Mystikal was actually still signed to Jive (and Big Boy Records). Check the back of his No Limit albums. Jive distributed them too, not Priority. That's why he was still on Jive when he left No Limit.
