You gotta be the king of stupid..
If Nelly sold 10 million cds for $10 each that is 10m

If Biggie sold 5 million of a double album at $20 it's 2m because you sold 2 units.

You ever go to a supermarket and buy a stick of deodorant for $5 and they have the value pack of 2 for $9.99.. It's the same shyt. You're buying 2 units in one. How hard is that to understand.

That is not how it works. The units sold is the units it sold. Soundscan does not double the sales. The RIAA does that for certification purposes. A double album that is certified diamond still only sold 5 million copies.

On No Limit Ghetto Fabulous sold 368k the first week.. The lets get ready album sold 330k the first week. Ghetto Fabulous sold 2.9m and lets get ready sold 2.2m

He had more radio play, more videos and sold less. The tank on the back of albums meant something.
Jesus christ dude, don't believe Wikipedia, I can edit that in 5 seconds

Believe RIAA and Billboard. Da Crime Family went gold, Mystikal's albums went platinum each (not sure bout GF). NL worldwide sales weren't anything to speak of besides Snoop, miniscule

Man he wasn't just rhyming on his albums, he was heavily featured on all their shyt around that time...sounding goofy af on down south beats. Nobody wanted that kind of music/aura from him, No Limit, it wasn't a good fit at all, which is why he said himself he started slippin away from P and goin back West for that sound. Master P is a G tho for helping him out of a situation that he himself wasn't built to get out of, Snoop owes him a lot. And like I said, I know it cost P an arm and a leg for Suge to let Snoop go, so I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't make that back off Snoop
You're a known NL hater so ehh

Snoop's features on NL were usually good, he fit in worse on some of the NL cuts on Da Game Is To Be Sold tho, which gave off this impression you mention

I think I know the disconnect, the artist thought P got an advance with signing to priority, that wouldn't happen until they started dropping music. But Tobin should've smoothed it over if he was the manager

@JustCKing @NO-BadAzz @OHSNAP!

TC thought he could run his own label on Priority, once he had the connects there. P a cutthroat businessman

The only thing you should believe is the people at the record label saying how much they sold because they know what they sold to the stores.

In the stock market nobody is telling us how many units Apple sold.. They tell you how many they sold..

i thought you were talking about when nas signed to def jam circa 2006.

as far as the murder inc thing, i dont know how that wouldve turned out.
murder ince needed an elite rapper. Nas wouldve gave them that but he was about to hit his downside. i think it couldve worked cuz Irv wouldve prolly hooked him up with some jams. Nas aint really had any jams since back then, with "made you look".

how was Nas washed in 2006?

HipHop is Dead debut at #1 selling 355k 1st week
Untitled in 2008. Debuted at #1.. 187k 1st week
2012. Life is Good.. Debuted at #1..

These are billboard overall charts.. not hip hop
