I was able to attend practice today. Spoke with a few support staff guys (analyst) and a few players (Also chatted with coach cooper and Vinny Clark. Coach Cooper just can’t stay away from the game!)

Each one of them said that Julian is DIFFERENT. This isi was without any prompting or questioning. The staff loves him.

Not sure he starts (Howard had a very solid day) but the hype that you are hearing around him is very real.

HE CAN SPIN IT.

Side note.. CJ Hicks, Sonny Styles, Arvell Reese.. SCARY. Luke Montgomery continues to rep at RG with the first group OL.

the environment being created by the coaches and more importantly the leaders of the team is way different than I’ve seen at practice over the last five years. I love it!

The offensive line is making strides. They’re getting more comfortable learning how to play together, getting better with protections, and learning how to better deal with an elite defensive line. As noted, it was ugly recently when defensive coordinator Wink Martindale mixed it up and brought the heat — and several different blitzes — during a recent scrimmage. The offense struggled to the point that the quarterbacks’ heads were spinning.
