No Junk Food Challenge... Anyone?

Ok, so since the no soda challenge ended up working out for me (eventually), let me see if I can cut out the sweets. Just came back from vacation and I know I gained at least 15 lbs. off gummy worms alone :mjcry:

For the next month or so I'm going cold turkey on it all (chips, sweets, juice, and even fast food). Might even regularly hit up the gym. Who knows.


If anyone would like to join me, please do. July 1st is my personal goal.

Lol, it doesn't have to be chips. If you have something that you're eating a lot of that you want to quit then use this thread as a journal.

Day 1: So far, so good. Went grocery shopping and didn't get anything terrible. Haven't had much of an appetite today anyway because I ate too much yesterday so I've been just drinking water and eating light.

I'm free for the summer so I'll have more time to meal prep and think ahead as opposed to grabbing things from vending machines.

Nah it would def have to be chips I retain water like a mofo. I already don’t really do sweets, so I guess I’m gonna go with fruit for snacking. I misread the op thought you were gearing up to quit July 1 but I can join you.

I housed some chips today cause I forgot but I'm for sure starting tomorrw - only gonna f/w light popcorn.

Need to get used to eating less food again. Had a decent sized meal not too long ago and I'm hungry again. Ate a banana but that didn't help much :mjcry:

Counting calories so I know that I'm eating enough. So glad I don't have any chips or ice cream in this house cause it would be game over for me.

Been junk food free (no soda, juice, sweets, chips, bread) since April 9th. It was rough for the 1st couple of weeks, but at this point, I have no problem sticking to the diet. I plan on sticking with it for a couple more months, but my daughters 1st birthday is mid June and I most likely will end up sharing a slice of cake or cupcake with her. Its gonna be interesting to see if I can get back on track after that.
